Well look at the team Malkin have. He has the best playmaker within the league in Crosby, as all right as Gonchar and Recchi setting him up. Now look at Ovechkin's team. Second second in the East, and his best set-up man is probably Dainius Zubrus. I regard as that Ovechkin is an overall better play than Malkin, but you can only evaluation so many unassisted goal, right?
So yes, I think by the terminate of the season, Malkin will have surpassed Ovechkin.

Yes, now that he's teamed up near Stall on his Line and Crosby on the powerplay, it's almost inevitable.
Malkin and Ovechkin have equal points per game (1.22), but remember that Malkin missed 4 games at the start of the season because of his pre-season shoulder injury.
He's be catching up, and seems to be on gait to catch and outdo, particularily with the Pens contained by the fight for playoff position and Washington out of it.

Definately. Malkin is an outstanding player. Dont gain wrong, Ovechkin is a great player, but recently he have been playing resembling crap. Malkin is stepping it up.

i don't feel so, simply because of how different the teams they play for are. ovechkin is contained by a little bit of a slump and malkin is on a hot streak right very soon. i think soon they will both play resembling they usually do (ovechkin a beast, malkin slowing down a bit). Alex will warmth up again as the Caps depend on his scoring to win.
Yes he will. He has great talent around him. He is surrounded by fact the foundation why the PENS have be so hot lately.
Crosby has one gaol on 10 games. Malkin have around 7 or 8 I think.
i dont conjecture so, the pens are hot, but ovechkin will take in for questioning some momentum near the running out.
Last year, Malkin was labled the best player NOT surrounded by the NHL. He was amazing during the 2006 Olympics and it be a natural step for him to be drafted into the NHL.
He can to be sure pass Ovechkin if Ovey keep up his current slump. It seems that Ovey Couldn't hit the broad side of a barn right in a minute. (And this pains me to say, mortal a Caps fan.)

Question:I'm so upset about how the pen just agree to their streak go to hell resembling that! They basicly gave up the undamaged game after they tolerate the islanders work the pens out of 3 goal and I just can't have a handle on why crosby thought he could be the hero at the very wind up, knowing full well that Hunter be right on his a$s, which lead sillinger to a moment ago shoot the puck right past fleury!

Well, After 4 Assists, And given the 9 times out of 10 Crosby is not going to be even slowed down by someone like Hunter, consent to alone lose the puck to him, It seemed approaching the right thing to do.
If anyone going to be the Hero, It's going to be him, and Therrien have actually be actively encouraging him to do more of that type of play because he's often be too conservative.
They always grant up these big leads, its what they do, They call for a better defense, trying to blame it on someone with 4 points surrounded by the game doesn't take home much sense when Fluery should have stopped him and Defense should hold been supporting the attack to start beside.
My husband is also very upset right immediately because of the game. Take comfort contained by knowing that they are still amazing and that this was only a fluke. They just requirement to learn how to preserve a lead.
I know it pisses me rotten to, but its alright if it wasn't for crosby they wouldn't have score all those goal, but he still shouldn't have done that.
Thats why the Pens arent likelihood on favorites for the Cup. While they've scored deeply of goals, they've given up abundantly because they have a tough time holding the lead.
I can believe it the Penguins suck and are going nowhere within the playoffs. the leafs are going to win the Stanley cup . sucks to be a Penguins fan and I am loving evrey second. Crosby is coming to the leafs.

the pen really didn't give up. i'm not pen fan or an isles aficionado but i was watching the spectator sport and i really thought the pens outplayed the isles and the solely reason they lost be becaue of fluery. he let that second goal travel. he let a couple other goal go that shouldn't own been goal and crosby had hunter whip dipeitro just made the put aside. so they really didn't give up...all the same again..i was routing for them to loose..so i am happpy
Yea i'm a somewhat ticked but hey, it was a ridicoulous run, what similar to 28 out of 30 points in times gone by month? We had be playing sloppy for the past week so i expected us to lose at some point

LET their streak go? What activity were you watching? Are you also forgetting they PLAYED A 3 o'clock GAME YESTERDAY. Some dumbass beside the NHL scheduling was BEGGING them to lose this when it be set up. I don't get why they didn't own the game against Washington set for Saturday. Heck I can see not have the Pens play a late activity, since the Pitt Panthers have a basketball winter sport tonight. This was a poor programme though. Seriously are you a bandwagon fan, or simply too upset to think clearly? If you are a bandwagon aficionado then no use trying to explain it. As to Crosby trying to mark what did you expect him to do with smaller number then a minute moved out in a tie winter sport? Players don't play for ties. At least not GOOD players. A squad that plays to put it in OT is doing that because they can't win surrounded by regulation.
I am also disappointed in the loss. Especially beside less than 30 second left within the game. None the smaller quantity it was a particularly soft goal given up by "The Flower." He have been making those save during this streak. Neither goalie had a great winter sport today. Good game to monitor and would have be even better if the good guys would hold won. Another tough one Thursday when they go to Florida to call in the Cats. Always a tough win for our Pens down there.
Fluery have problems holding on to leads, although alot of those goal wern't his fault the ones that obvioulsy counted be.

this be the worse game defensively they have all years. fleury could not also come up when they needed him beside scoring 5 goals they should own won.
Hey relax everyone, The streak had to wind up some time. The PENS have given themselves some breathing room for the playoff run. Crosby will still receive some mistakes but he will be creating more glorious moments in the PENS practical future. The squad will growm from this and remember they have won plentifully of one goal games surrounded by the past 16 games.
