Well, cheerleading IS NOT A SPORT. I guess they purely put gymnastics in Olympic Sports, which is really stupid, because close to you pointed out, darts is here. They're missing relatively a lot of stuff; track & pasture isn't here either. Come on Yahoo!

I hold manic depression, can I compete within the "Special Olympics"?
Question:I am a rhythmic gymnast, the Special Olympics is my dream.
Answers:
no
The Special Olympics is limited to those beside physical handicaps. There is no reason why you couldn't compete surrounded by the regular Olympics if you can qualify. But, then, possibly that's why you wanted to compete contained by the Special Olympics.
no . no. no
You'll have to stick to the regular Olympics, I'm afraid.
Remember, try to avoid competing contained by the Ribbon event during a manic episode, unless you have a qualified Scout Master present.
Good luck for 2008!
You should be on the bench panel.
Jimi Hendrix?
No, no.
To my knowledge the Special Olympics is for the mentally disabled, the Paraolympics is for the physically disabled. There's a big difference.
possibly
only if your pet name is Eric Cartman.

I don't think so dear...the special Olympics is for nation with mental disabilities ,and the paralympics is for nation with physical disabilities .
What forces do a pole vaulter and pole apply surrounded by demand to clear the lump.?
Answers:
The pole vaulter must use enough force pushing down on the pole so that the pole will bend, and when it snaps final to position, will raise the pole vaulter.
simplistically...forward momentum and stored / released liveliness in the pole for raise and height
Interesting query. It's a real study within physics.
Pole vaulting is a wonderful illustration of how one type of perkiness is converted to another type of energy. Through the proper use of the pole sepulchre, the energy of motion associated near the sprint is converted into the energy needed to overcome gravity and achieve a certain increase. The energy of motion is call "kinetic energy," while the activeness associated with working against gravity is call "gravitational potential energy." The faster you can sprint toward the stick, the higher you can basement over the bar, again assuming a proper technique.
Pole vault is also a great example of the central principle within physics: the conservation of energy.
The conservation of liveliness says that vim can never be created or destroyed; it can only be converted from one form to another. When you pole sepulchre, what you ideally want is to convert all of your kinetic vim into gravitational potential energy. In the definite world, you can never get a 100 percent conversion because some of the kinetic liveliness gets converted into other kind of energy, such as boil, friction, sound, and vibrations of the pole itself. Nevertheless, the "just what the doctor ordered case" gives you a devout idea of how lofty you could jump.
In command to determine how high you could conceptually jump, you must know your sprint speed and how towering you are. Again, this assumes that all your vigour of motion (kinetic energy) is converted into the "gravitational potential energy" of the jump plane.
