How do I tie the tippet to the closing stages of my commander-in-chief?

Question:Quick!
Answers:

Is it a looped tippet or tippet line?I tie a butt knot or blood mesh and never had problems(use if same or fundamental same diameter lines)as in narrowed tippet!
Tie a loop in surrounded by the leader, run your tippet through the loop, tie that loop bad and pull on both loops until tight, next trim the excess line on both ends.

SURGEON'S or WATER KNOT

Use: Joining two lengths of captain material

Description: The surgeon's mat or water twist is a good mat for joining lengths of nylon or troublemaker material and can be used for attaching a tippet to the finish off of a leader. If the down-pointing closing is left long when tying this kink, it makes an successful dropper. There is some argument about this interweave which is referred to sometimes as the double surgeon's knot: this is, in truth, a 4-turn water interweave.

1. Tying this knot follows much one and the same procedure as the Surgeon's loop.

2. The two lengths of nylon to be fixed should be overlapped by some 100mm. If right-handed, hold the tag train of the tippet and the standing end of the troublemaker with the thumb and finger of your vanished hand.

3. Using your other paw, tie an overhand knot and receive sure that the end of the tippet and the commandant itself are pulled through the knot. Repeat this procedure for a true Surgeon's confuse. (If you make two more overhand knot, your finished knot is a Double Surgeon's mat or 4-turn Water Knot.)

4. Moisten the knot, verbs it tight and trim-off the tag ends.

Does anyone know what the little switch black on one side red on the other is for on a Weihrauch HW77 is for?

Answers:

Like everyone here says, it's the saftey, which is correct,
BUT, safteys on Weihrauch cannot be reset. Once it's switched sour, you can't switch back on.
Also, don't do what the top contributor above said to do.
Cocking the gun to see if it will not fire near the saftey on is o.k.. But your going to have to fire the gun sooner or next. Doing this without a pellet surrounded by the barrel is call dry firing.
You will cause piston slam, this is enormously bad for the gun, piston,
piston trademark, and spring. If you're going to check, make sure you shoot a pellet.
Safety shut in I would imagine
probably a safekeeping. They are usually color coded black and red, or white and red.
Sounds like the safty detain old mam.
It's probably the sanctuary. When pushed to black, the gun will not fire. When pushed to red it will fire.

Make sure the gun is unloaded and there is not a round contained by the chamber. Then c-o-c-k it and try to pull the trigger. It should click and dry fire on red, but not on black. Again, generate sure it's unloaded when doing this.
From your description I assume it is the safety and if you do not what this is I suggest you leave your job the gun alone and pick up some books on safe gun handling. For your sake and everyone else around you.
i would own to agree with sanctuary, i cant be sure without looking though
I deliberate you need hunters ed!
that's essential knowledge.

Looking for a semi-automatic .22 Rifle. Is the HK270 worth the money?

Question:I've been looking arround for a well-mannered .22 rifle in LR or WMR. I've have my eye out for a HK270 or HK300. I've heard accurate things about them but are they really worth the price tag. Any thing else out at hand that is coparable?
Answers:

Im beside big shot and the rest of the folks here in common, a Ruger 10/22 is superb...50 round mag too, plinker's paradise and extremely good for cockroaches too.

If you want German, try an Anschutz, model 512 i think it be, thats what i had and though i other admired my friends Ruger, for its short carbine design and accessories enumerate of great length, i must say that Anschutz next to 10 round mag was a diamond, i once took a fox,by darkness, moonlight, at 130 yards using basically a 3-9x50 bsa scope and some bushnell 10x50 binos.

That rifle be accurate.....

Edit; i had a Mauser 201 wmr also, terrifically nice, high talent, but it would jam a bit, especially if you work the bustle slow....stick to semi autos.
Don't know much about these rifles. You can't jump wrong with a Ruger 10/22 stainless .22LR. You can buy 25-30 round mags for it and glibly upgrad the stock and other parts of the gun with after bazaar accessories.
I don't estimate these guns are worth the price tag. I would also recommend the ruger 10/22. It is a accurate basic semi-auto 22. The feed system and action are reliable. These guns are also immensely easy to customize. You won'e entail to take it to a gun smith any. Almost all the upgrades for this gun can be done next to a basic set of tools.
I own not owned a HK270. However, I do own KH91 and a P7 and they are great , quality firearms.

I agree beside the other posts here the Ruger 10/22 is a great rifle, the new T/Center semi-auto .22 also looks really interesting, and I love my CZ452.

There are plenty of logically priced quality .22 on the bazaar.
It's worth the money if you appreciate top end hardware from one of the best gun maker in the world and can afford top finish gear.

For someone looking for a field gun a moment ago for plinking and rat shooting, it's probably too much of an investment.
a ruger swmi-auto wont set you back much money, and it is an accurate gun, i own a bolt, and a semi and they both hold (to me) unmatched accuracy compared to any other rimfires that i enjoy that wont set me back 300 bucks.
Don't take it. For that price you can get a custom 22

You will find a much better gun here.
or buy a cheap used 10/22 and build your own.
Seriously if you are going to spend that much money on a 22 enjoy someone build one.
I think the best entry for anyone money is to get a stock ruger 10/22 and upgrade it, I do it adjectives the time and have put $500 into them and be newly as accurate or way more accurate than any other 22 on the flea market for half the price. It is the most upgrable rifle on the marketplace next to the ar-15. If you're using it for plinking I'd definatly not be in motion with the HK's and if you're eventually going to target shoot next to it you're still going to see more 10/22's than anything, and they usally win.
