Im planning to receive a MAUSER M2 pistol, is it powerful?acurate? which is best for it? 45acp?40sw?357sig.?
Answers:
SIG's Mauser M2 is very nice. Choose .45 or .40 with the sole purpose...357SIG is still a novelty and ammo is damn expensive and easier said than done to find.
The round is powerful, not the pistol.
This pistol will be very accurate for a short barreled vcarry gun..adjectives SIGs are.
The Mauser M2 is a very in good health constructed weapon that has shown to be severely accurate.
The 357 Sig was designed as a semi auto text of the 357 Magnum, of which it does very in good health.
The 357 Sig is the most powerful of the 3 calibers and is very popular round.
I hold been terribly satisfied beside the 357 Sig I have, next to out any regrets what so ever.
But all 3 calibers are enormously good, my choice would be the 357 Sig for over adjectives power, and the 45 ACP for nock down for it is a very huge projectile that is moving exceptionally slow at between in average of 850 to 950 fps (feet per seconds) within bullet terms i.e. slow, and all liveliness is usually delivered to the target within nock down power, and would be least expected to exit a human body.
Where as the 357 Sig and 40 S&W some of the nock down is lost because the bullet will in most cases exit the human body and could, and have endangered innocent bystanders.
For a conceal fetch weapon the 45 ACP would be the best all around.
For pure power the 357 Sig.
Hope this be of help.

Did they ever find the other two climbers lost on Mt. Hood after they found the first one inert?
Answers:
the two climbers lost on top have not be found- maybe contained by the summer when the winter snow melts. the climbers found next to the dog were from a different jamboree at a later date.
Yes, they be found alive and safe. I believe they have a dog, too?
Stories of the fish that get away?
Question:Heres mine...
yesterday i was fishing near a minnow lure and all the sudden something huge bit it and swam bad... then roughly 30 secs later i saw it drop out of the water.. it be a huge carp.. huge.. so i fought with it for just about 20 minutes (i had 8 lb string on) and finally got it relatively close to the shore (i thought) so i jumped within the lake beside a net and when i be trying to catch it within the net i saw the lure float up to the top.. preventable to say i be and am extremely disappointed.
So whats your story?
Answers:
Mine too is a Northern Wisconsin story. I was fishing on the lagoon with a road prevailing up to it ;-). It was an interesting daylight, I was cast a safety pin bucktail spinner and my cousin and I be getting some action and follows. I have a sub-legal muskie shake-off at the boat.
Then I saw a huge olive slab flash in the hose down as my pole started to bend! I fought the huge olive slab for a couple of minutes and then the pole and chain went totter.
Lo & behold, the huge olive slab wasn't attacking my bucktail, but the 21" northern pike that was, unbeknownst to me, hooked on my bucktail. The pike's belly be tore open and it have 4.5" bitemarks on its back.
My father have a 30 lb muskie on the wall and IIRC its bitemarks are 4".
I too lost sense and instead of pitching the pike back contained by the drink I went nuts we go and told my Dad. He then asked what the hey be doing in the villa instead of trying to catch that monster!
The other morning I was fishing surrounded by a little scamp boat and I threw out next to a cork and a minnow on the line and my procession messed up and i was trying to fix it by pulling the interweave out and something took my cork under. I tried to set the hook and it did but it pulled my full reel quantity through the line so I started pulling the chain bare hand and finally the line snapped. I'm pretty sure it be a big catfish. But man I felt close to some of those Bill Dance bloopers...
No story I've only caught tree limb, algae and
fish and turtles stole the bait. Needless to say
I don't fish much, since later.
I once caught a Marlin on my ultra lite in Lake Tahoe,or be it Cabo..I can't remember...
Me and my buddy wanted to spawn us one of those fishing videos to see if we could market it. So we set the tripod and camera up on the hill subsequent to the pond. We had our organize all cut etc to build the dynamite sink to the bottom. So I lit the first stick of dynamite and threw it into the pond. "Boom"...man the fish were floating everywhere. Then this Game Warden showed up from no where on earth, and started writing me a ticket. My buddy lit another stick of dynamite, handed it to the officer and said, "You gonna fish, or write that ticket"? We have him on tape, so he couldn't turn us within.
But on a more serious note, I be in the river the other hours of daylight Catfishing, and had my Mitchell 300 adjectives fixed up with exotic line etc and threw out close at hand the boat. This big Catfish hit, almost jerked my bobbin out of the boat. I grabed it, set the hook good, and the fish come towards the boat, didn't even slow down, going the other way. When the procession broke, it sounded like a .22 rifle going bad. Gosh, I wish I could enjoy put that one in the boat. However, I did stop several other good size cats that time. And that IS true.
I was up surrounded by Northern Wisconsin on Potato Lake near Chetek, a nice sized big fish (musky/northern) sea. It was a blowing hard day so we floated into the weed, got stuck, and newly decided to throw some topwater weedless lures. I be using a Mister Twister Top Prop and cast the lure to hand what appeared to be an animals stick house on the edge of the hose down. On my retreive I saw a fin following in the shallow hose. I played it right, got a strike, and set the hook impeccably (not always unproblematic on a topwater lure). I fought the fish (most likely the biggest one of my life span and what i like to contemplate was the biggest one surrounded by the lake) for ten minutes. My friend grabbed the lattice and tried to troll us over there, but earlier we could move, the fish caught up contained by the lilly pads and get away. I set my pole down. Yelled some profanities, cracked a beer open and didnt fish the rest of the afternoon. I'll get it sooner or later. Oh yes I will.
I was coming contained by from a fairly unproductive fishing trip near three other guys (couple of skipjack tuna, one small wahoo), and as we approached the pass through the reef to return to the marina, one fella's rig started to sing (6 ft Penn Tuna Stick, 12/0 Penn Senator totter loaded with 50 lb. mono). He belted up and grab the rod, stating that it felt approaching a big yellowfin tuna because whatever he have on was sounding. I started hauling contained by the handlines while another guy reeled within the other rod. I was nearly halfway through the second flash when the rod man yelled out, "Holy $#!+". I looked up to see a HUGE Pacific Blue Marlin doing a tailwalk more or less 75 yards trailing our boat. I nearly dropped the handline board. Long story short, we each fought the point for an hour, covering three nautical miles, with two more tailwalks, up to that time the thing get tired of toying with us and broke free. One guy be a fairly experienced marlin fisherman and estimated it at over 600 lbs., perchance pushing 700. He could tell because we get it within 15-20 yard of the boat several times before it settled it was close plenty and 'porpoised' away.
Good thing my boss be another fishing buddy of mine, because I was three hours belated to work that day but he couched.
Well this is the most recent
Last Friday night at give or take a few 1 am . I was throwing a Pop~n~ Image jr. lure for bass . I simply cast out and be getting ready to twitch the lure a couple times when the dampen exploded . It sounded like someone threw a cinderblock contained by the water. It terrified me so bad I jerk the lure right away from the bass.
I was so excited my knees be weak LOL. I never saw the fish but judge by the sound and the top it was ably over 10 pounds
the lake register where I be fishing is a 14. 6 oz bass caught and released 2 yrs ago. No telling how big it is immediately they grow fast here surrounded by Florida . It could be 18 to 20 pounds by now
I purely started fishing last spill out, and I'm obsessed. Opening week of the Dungeness River, I be down at the "Meat hole" where everyone be combat fishing. I didn't even know how to tie a good mesh. So I asked a guy what to do and he said just throw what you get out there, consent to it hit bottom and when you feel something stop it, present it a good tweak.
So I'm out there beside all the gear head, elbow to elbow, just trying not to go and get in anyone's sea and get my flash tangled up. Of course adjectives I'm doing is snagging up all time and spending my whole time on the sandbank retying.
Had a couple on (fishing for cohos) and kept losing them. They were biting through 30 lb theory test some guy said. Well, I started getting frustrated, but kept on fishing and watching what others were doing. Then I have one, and everyone started yelling "FISH ON! SHE HAS ONE!" So I play this big ol fish, and I'm one and only running 12 lb test, I bring it all the route up to the bank and the guy subsequent to me goes to get hold of it's tail. It was a delicate fish, must have be a 15 pounder and bright silver! Anyways, he goes to clutch the tail and it lays sideways, well the hook pops out and past its sell-by date it swam! I was so damn pissed! He told me what I did wrong, and the in one piece day I never have another one on. I fished until sundown tho.
That was my fundamentally first day ever fishing at a river for salmon and after that I be determined to catch some. I finally caught a few but nil as bright as that fish.hopefully I learned plenty to make this year better.my smoker is lonely.
