9mm range/accuracy?
Question:I know practical accuracy is measured at 7 to 25 yard. However, I curious to see if anyone had tested a 9mm beyond the 25 yd band? I have read that tons 1911 .45acp models (such as Les Baer, Ed Brown, etc) can achieve lower than 2 inches at 50 yds. I would like to know how the finer 9mm handgun compare to the 1911's at that range. This is of late a curiosity to me and any info you can provide would be appreciated.
Answers:
Most of the better handguns are more accurate the the character shooting them.
I have owned Glocks, Berettas, CZs, S&W, 9mm pistols. Usually, after a practice session, I would set up a 50 courtyard target for just giggle. I would fire five round strings from a seated rest. Holding the front sight on the leader of my IPSC target would produce groups in the chest nouns of the target. I could get groups just about 6 to 8 inches across. These were adjectives stock guns. The Glock, with its striker behaviour produced the largest group. The trigger action is not conductive to long inventory shooting. The Beretta, a 92D, double action one and only, was going on for the same. The double achievement trigger was deeply smooth but heavy. The S&W, standard semi auto goings-on, was second best. The trigger is stiff and somewhat creepy. The CZ would consistantly shoot the smallest groups. Also a standard semi auto feat. The trigger, however, was wispy and crisp.
As a side note, my 1952, Colt National Match, 45ACP would shoot 3 inch groups adjectives day next to my 200 grain semi wadcutter reloads.
My sometimes concealed take revolver is a S&W 940, a 9mm revolver no longe made by S&W. I have tried this snubby out at 50 yard. I hit the target all five times, but won't brag in the region of the group.
It’s not the caliber that makes the small groups.
It’s the part of the weapon that does this.
Any good point weapon set up for fine accuracy will do it within spite of the caliber.
I have 4 different calibers of paw gun that will shoot small groups off a rest at 50 yard and further with effortless.
22 caliber semi auto , 357 magnum revolver , 45ACP semi auto and even a 308winchester in a single shot Encore pistol.
Competition cask and trigger and good ammo you would be amazed at merely how accurate a pistol can be.
I hunt Deer and wild hog beside the 357 magnum and the 308 Winchester and squirrel and rabbit with the 22 pistols I own.
Some weapons are newly not designed for fine accuracy but others are.
Hope this be of some help.

interesting certainty the 9mm has a rise at 100 yard so i would think that a 9mm would be a great composition puncher when shooting over 50 yards
To make a payment to (D58) message, everything he said is correct, the only topic he did not touch on that have a huge factor on the accuracy also is the shooter.
Proper stance, proper trigger verbs, proper breathing, proper follow thru. This all add up to the final answer. Accuracy
Goodluck and Godspeed
not that much
I'm in the process of doing exactly that. Like you, I newly want to know, when the 9mm Parabellum first came over from Europe within was this super build-up more or less what it would do. When I bought an automatic a while back, I placed it within the hands of two Master class shooters. These guys proceeded to shoot at metal silhouette 75 meters away. One said to the other, " Aim high". I'm in a minute using a 9mm TC to work up loads(had to find loadbooks) that I can build for the auto.
Okay, I didn't do this- I saw a man shoot metal silhouette at 40 meters with automatics(I believe they be 9mm) and consistently hit. But he was a pro, most shooters don't fare that all right.
True, accuracy is a combination of factor.
The vast majority of 9MM handgun are double action or striker fired. The triggers on them don't lend themselves to correctness like the single undertaking trigger you see on the .45 models you mentioned. That doesn't mean that they are smaller quantity accurate, just harder for most culture to shoot that accurately.
There are 1911s in 9MM you can receive however and I feel approaching with the attention of a educated gunsmith they would do quite powerfully at punching paper at 50 yard.
Bullseye shooters like the larger caliber however. All the round have to do is to "break the line" to count for the higher point and you newly punch a bigger hole with the .45. But as far as measure the group "center to center" I don't think that the .45 have any mechanical positive aspect over the 9MM.
What would be considered a paintball sniper sign?
Question:i see people chitchat about snipers mortal those with pump guns but what does that parsimonious? what kind of guns exactly and where on earth could i check them out? also for anyone who knows..ive merely got a pro-vantage thermal masquerade and was wondering if its pious. i recieved it as a gift from a friend. only wanted to know if its a biddable mask. appreciation.
Answers:
Mask wise i'd move up to a jt flex spell. As for the sniper gig any paintball gun tub over 14 inches becomes a friction problem and reduce accuracy and distance. Sure it looks well turned-out and "sniper" like it doesn't do anything but thwart you. Depending on the gun a good 12/14" drum would do just fine. Smart parts, dye,j&j,evil, ect. are only just to name a few. Paintball revolves around the 3 "b's", bolt, orb and barrel. An aftermarket bolt will increase effecientcy and exactness. The type of paintballs you use also determines its accuracy, cheap/old paintball own irregular shells, ect and will not fly straight. Paint does have a shelf life span and the barrel is responsible for how it leaves the pointer and also its efficiency. Any paintball signpost can be a sniper gun, its the player behind it that make it that way. As for the looks side of it i'd look more toward tippmann and opsgear. Take carefulness.
Just about any paintball gun beside a barrel longer than 16in.
I enjoy a Dragun TES and it stands for The Electronic Sniper, even though it is a electronic marker it come with a 14-16in firkin stock.
And about the covering, its pretty decent for a trainee, but move up soon if you are seriously into paintball to a profiler with thermal lens or soemthing.

White fish is fish next to white meat, as opposed to Salmon or Tuna. Lord back us, it could be anything.
