BOW & ARROW stats?
Question:I have purely received an older(??) archery bow.. it is a wooden 44inch model.
I have taken it to a local Archery service center who retightened the strings to "proper" rigidity.
I am a total *newbie* to the art of Archery so I am researching all I can around the POSSIBILITIES of this sport.

I believe this bow is a HUNTING model. - What (if any) *modifications* should I use to gross this a SPORTING unit?

your bow sounds approaching a long bow its fine for hunting. Bow strength is measured in pounds if you can verbs it back you can use it. 40 -45 for ladies men usually use 60 - 65 lbs. Length of arrow depends on how far you can verbs most are about 26 - 28 inches. Target head on arrows for practice, Broad heads are for hunting. A broad principal has sharp cut-throat blades 3 or 4, target heads are dull newly for shooting foam or hay or cardboard. Most have go to compound bows that have pulleys. Easier verbs but stronger release. Hunting Deer, and Turkey are most popular but the smaller the target the harder to hit. Good luck
my son recently took up the sport as very well. i think your q's are better answered by a pro. jump back to the archery pro shop and ask them. JeepJeep have the right of it. I'd add arrows are usually overpriced. I've never used metal shafting. Wood on
wood is better if single by the feel on cold drizzling days.
I'd leave the bow as is and not buy what individuals want sold. You lack skill and possibly any forearm leather protection. Practice each day. Get a feel for what your bow can deliver
every time as aimed. I approaching the silence and the way arrow get attention when announcing by 'thud' its flight is done.

riding my bicycle, I ride 7 miles a year around the town I live in, up and down hill. mostly in 5th gear. I similar to it because it makes me touch energetic. help keep my shipment down, stregthens my legs and keeps my cardio surrounded by good form. I am a pro wrestler breathing is a must. (a sure way of breathing) and riding my bike help with that breathing process. I am 6'4 and 318 lbs I ride to save in shape so that desease doesn't set surrounded by. diabettes runs on both sides of my family, I enjoy to exercise.
It has to be Flying My Kites!(Normally across sea!)
It's Just the Best Buzz Left(That doesn't involve Women,Drugs or Alcohol),and It Keeps you fit as a Bi-Product!

i wallow in woodworking!!! it involves finding a pattern worth making, going to the hardware store for wood, blades, and sand newspaper, then tracing the stencil onto the wood, cutting it out on my scroll saw, sand the wood down smooth, then drawing it to perfection!! then i usually confer it away as a just-because-gift just to form people smile!!!
Caving..
I love to explore the underground... it's approaching bouldering, climbing, and hiking all contained by one.. but it's in the see so that adds another stratum of complexity i really enjoy... you enjoy to use your brain in conjunction near your body to maneuver through situations.. it's great... plus in most extreme sports, you develop a bond near your fellow cavers.. you have your enthusiasm in their hand and vice-verse..

The merely South Bend bamboo flyrods that really pique a collector's interest are the model 290 and 291's. Both be
7'6". Other models such as the following #'s: 46, 58, 59,
346, 358, 359 were largely 7-8 weight rods surrounded by 9' configurations
Of course, with any antique, condition scheme everything.
A good, nouns model 290 or 291, complete in VG+ condition may gain you $400 (e-bay), less when you any sell the rod to a collector or put it up for consignment. A appropriate sound model 59 may bring surrounded by $150. The reason is South Bend rods be mass produced (think ugly-stick) and there is alot of them out nearby, even today.
Look at the rod. Are the wraps intact ? Were any guides re-wrapped ? Are the sections matching legnth ? Alot of times you'll find the tip section shorter because of a break. Is the condition of the varnish nouns (no cracks or peeling)? How about the cork - is it chewed up ? Is the sticker still on the rod ? Do you own the original cloth purse and case ? These are adjectives question a collector will ask you within determining a value for the rod. The more negative, the less plus the rod has.

Hold your horses. Those old South Bend rods be mass produced and are not worth as much as the hand made ones. I've see South Bend rods that only receive $50 or so at auction. They are not that good, and of late really arent worth that much.
what condition is the rod? and do you have the casing? depending on condition and age your looking at $100 to $250, if you go to an antique provider you would be looking at half that.....ebay!!
WANTED: airsoft gun: begginner, low within price, far shooting, non-painful?
Question:I have hear of begginner guns that are about 20 bucks, and you dont even flinch when your shot at. I enjoy never played airsoft, and i want a good begginner gun.

UM, WELL, UMM. Well, if you want a greenhorn gun, you should start out w/ a spring psitol. There are a lot that are 20 bucks that dont variety you flinch. So, yah. This is a very interesting request for information to answer.
I would recommend either the Steyr AUG, H&K G36C or FAMAS. All are extremely reliable (depends on brand) and will probably set you put a bet on around $200.
