Outdoor Recreation Questions and Answers

How far is Coulee City from the Sun Lakes campsite?

Question:I can't seem to find a good map! And have you heard any good/bad stuff about camping at Sun Lakes?
Answers:

I'm not into Outdoor Recreation, but if this place is in Britain then all you need is the postcodes of the two places in question, and use samknows.com.

Alternatively, you could use Google's website, which will give you directions. However, samknows.com gives you (I believe) extremely accurate distance measurements (in a straight line), while google.co.uk measures distance in terms of road travel (which isn't necessarily in a straight line).

I am looking for a fun outdoors experiance near my sons?

Question:Anybody have any philosophy on what/where we could go and do. I live contained by New England.
Answers:

heck out geocacing.com , it is a treasure hunting sort of thing. You run on line, put within you zip-code and it gives you places to move about find the geocaches(which contain stuff like toys from sunny meals, pen and pencils...) These are things people enjoy left, when you find it you history your data and live something yourself and one item. You find these treasure using you GPS, the website will give you coordinates and you walk to ind the treasure. Some caches are hugely kid friendly and not a bad meander to hike, they will report to you the difficulty of the find. I have even found some contained by city parks and things of that such. But please remember when you are out in wildlife treat it as such and be incredibly careful Th the resources. And other remember Cache IN Trash OUT. Happy Hunting.

Freshwater Fishing in or around Shoreline, Wa?

Question:I will be in Shoreline, WA Jan16-24th and would like to fish. I don't know the area too well but would like to freshwater fish if possible. I will even settle for lakes that are stocked this time of year. Please let me know if you know the area and whats available to fish this time of year. I don't want people just googling this answer as I have already done the same. Please real fishermen/women only
Answers:

I don't know the area but I can tell you some good baits.
The nightcrawler is the overall best bait if your fishing for bass, trout, perch, walleye, panfish, catfish, carp and even northern pike. Minnows are too. But artificials work good too, bass like spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, rapalas and jigs. Trout usually like spinners, spoons and flies. Perch like small lures that are red, like small spinners and jigs. Walleye like three inch long deep diving rapalas, trolling plugs and jigs. Northern pike(my favorite) like red and white dare devils, lazy ikes, big rapalas, deep divers, jitterbugs, buzzbaits, stickbaits, jerkbaits, glidebaits, spinnerbaits and bucktail spinners. Muskys(my second favorite) like everything that northerns do accept they like the baits bigger.
Good luck, hope you catch something.
