You can contact the California Department of Fish and Game. I couldn't find a schedule specifically for the OC, but I did find this, and it's the site I've used contained by the past when I've needed to go. They solely have end year's schedule posted, but I can't envision it would be that different for 2007. I don't know of good places surrounded by your area, but I know most of the beach in San Diego are full of them when it's grunion season. Pacific Beach (PB) is a virtuous one to try.
Good luck and have fun! It's such a debonair experience to go and see, if you've never be. And it's even more fun when you bring a lot of friends and enjoy a bonfire and make s'mores. :)

There is a grunion program offered to the public at Cabrillo Beach within San Pedro on several nights of the season. Call (310) 548-7562 for details.
I'm from NYC. Went to San Diego once surrounded by June and saw folks at night grab for grunions. Never seen anything close to it in my duration. Heard about silver hake wash a shore on Long Island, NY in the hasty 60s while they chased baitfish. Folks then call them frostfish. That hasn't happen here within over 40 years. Let's hope the grunions don't run into the same fatal outcome.
Any of the Slightly South facing beaches are suitable.Get a tide table You want to go the hours of darkness with the matchless tide of the month, Good luck

Jon W gave you a suitable answer!
High Standard is currently a resurrection of the older High Standard company that specialized within the manufacture of .22 long rifle semi-auto pistols, most of which be match category and are still highly sought after. In silhouette, the High Standard kinda looks approaching a M1911 Colt .45 ... perhaps sector of its appeal. I shot them in college, they are in good health worth the price.
High Power is the "trade marked" model name of the Browning "Pistol Model 1935" [a.k.a.: P35]. It be originally manufactured as a 13+1 9mm Luger semi-auto, as a successor model to Colt's M1911A1. It seems the "moniker" 'High Power' is currently human being applied to any and all P-35 clones!
High Point is not a brand I am aware with. However, from what I enjoy read here on Y!A, they make a set line of "big quality" 9mm decoy anchors! Seems the High Point may be in contention as the most recent "poster child" for the infamous "Saturday Night Special"!
Good luck!
Hi point could mean it is for larger activity, requiring a good
distance to be sheltered. Thus the idea is hi point scopes are
to be aimed litely better for the longer distance. The drop on
animals is different due to some fields of size and weights
thus a tiger from one partly mile is at 3 inches hi, and on a
wildebest its prey nearby single 2 inches hi, one of the classic
hi point reports. These are written in some hunting military camp
manuals showing the spectator sport hi point for the caliber and area.
I'll aid you out. There's a spell checker available here...
"Hi Point" is the company that sells the 9mm carbine. That's the one and only caliber they offer. They're contained by Dayton Ohio.
"Hi Standard" is the name of a .22 pistol by another company.
High Point is not a gun company and neither is High Pint.
Just a small correction to Jon W, Hi Point make the 9mm carbine you mentioned, they also offer a 40sw carbine, I enjoy one of each, subsequent year they will be releasing a 45acp carbine, they also make pistols within 380 9mm, 45acp and 40sw, I WILL NOT own or shoot their pistols, their carbines are top notch tho.
mtvtoni doesn't know wtf she is chitchat about.
BH I own a HI-Point carbine and love it. It is dead nuts accurate and so rather the bolt makes more hullabaloo the report. They have a no cross-examine asked life time transferable warranty the stays next to the firearm when it is sold. If you run over a Hi-Point with a meadow mower they will fix or replace for free for ever. From what I have see and shot the Hi-Point will feed any brand of ammo. BH Call Hi-Point ask for Jim, articulate to him he is the man the designed the carbine. Ask him about a carbine within .357 sig.
I know quite a few nation that have Hi-Point pistols and carbines. All of them are markedly satisfied near the performance of their guns. They adjectives also perform regular cleaning on their guns. Perhaps those having trouble beside them are not cleaning or maintaining them properly?
Their website list the guns they have and is timetabled below.

The only High Point I know of is a motocross track surrounded by PA.
What is Rem Oil used for?
Answers:
Simply a gun oil made by Remington. Use it to lubricate gun parts and aid remove fowling. Its also a great house oil. Similar to WD-40 but not as sunken so that your gun can stay lubricated longer. Especially handy when you store it during the off season. Just remember to put a touch on when you start hunting again.
Cleaning, lubricating, and helps prevent rust and corrosion on metal gun parts.
Some gun manufacturer do not recommend Rem Oil. Instead, a silicone spray like Break Free works better, since it cleans and lubes.
I enjoy used Rem oil basically for corrosion protecting such as rust primarily it does have Teflon contained by it which when applied will not gather dust and is a lubricant. I also similar to Teflon grease on certain parts of a gun.
RemOil is awesome. I enjoy used it for the last 16 years and it is a bonafide knockout. You can use RemOil all by itself to verbs .22lr firearms.
I've used it in this dimensions as a three-in-one cleaner.
RemOil is made by Dupont (former owners of Remington Arms).
