Where should I put a Crawfish trap?
Question:I love crawdads but they are WAY too costly sometimes, so what kind of trap, bait and place should I set a trap? Near underwater growth? By a tree growing underwater? Under a dock/platform?

I own always have good luck catching them surrounded by a metal crawdad trap. I put it next to underwater nouns (tulle's) or next to a tree that drops its leaves surrounded by the water. You can use any Night crawler worms or bacon or a really oily nice of fish for bait (make sure to tie it securely to the middle of the trap so they cannot attain it from the outside). You can buy a crawdad trap at most bait shops.

im from indiana and for craw fish my best source for them is to throw a minnow trap within a small creek where you know minnows are, and you will take in for questioning crawfish too, not alot but you will get some, only just throw a peice of bread in near the trap. good luck..
to brand name a homemade trapjust get a piece of mesh or chicken cable the fold it in partially and bond the edges together with line or something fold one side so one side is open. Open the up the inside alittle fold over another conclusion but so there is a small debut. fish heads are virtuous bait
