Rugby Questions and Answers
If I hit the orb forward conscious near my person in charge, is it knock-on?
Answers:
I suppose if you could aim the ball really powerfully with your manager, to other players, it could be a new agency to pass the bubble forward. Now I can butt the ball into touch or get hold of a grubber butt.
Yes, knocking forward counts which ever part of a set of your body you hit the ball next to
yes it is my friend , i should know i'm stupid
yep.
no it is a knock on if u use youre hands
Rugby grouping is is one of the few ball games where on earth the ball can individual travel backwards.
So that means the bubble cannot be passed forwards at anytime.
And that includes if you accidently knock the ball forwards next to your hands or arm when you fumble the orb.
No excuses in this activity.
So if you do knock the ball on forwards, the mediator will stop play and award a scrum to the other team.
i dont suppose so. it has to come past its sell-by date the arm or hands to be deem a knock on.... i think
I don't believe that it will be call as a knock-on.
While watching the Super12 last year, like thing happen to the Queensland Reds.
I think it be Elton Flatley who ran straight into the orb with his obverse about 5m from the try rank.
The ball go forward and over the try line Another Reds player pushed the orb down and Andre Watson, the referee, awarded the try stating that "the bubble came bad his head, no knock-on".
So I reflect on according to the exact rules, a knock-on can only come stale the forearms and hands of a player.
not a knock on past its sell-by date any other part of body except hand and arms
The other answers are also correct when saying it should not be a knock on, but for clarity, I hold included the definition of a knock-on and throw-forward below, and a link to where on earth I got the definition.
"LAW 12 – KNOCK-ON OR THROW-FORWARD
DEFINITION - KNOCK-ON
A knock-on occurs when a player loses possession of the orb and it goes
forward, or when a player hits the globe forward with the foot or arm, or when
the ball hits the mitt or arm and goes forward, and the globe touches the ground
or another player before the resourceful player can catch it.
‘Forward’ manner towards the opposing team’s unresponsive ball rank.
EXCEPTION
Charge down. If a player charges down the ball as an rival kicks it, or
promptly after the kick, it is not a knock-on even though the bubble may travel
forward.
DEFINITION - THROW-FORWARD
A throw-forward occurs when a player throws or pass the ball forward.
‘Forward’ routine towards the opposing team’s deceased ball smudge.
EXCEPTION
Bounce forward. If the ball is not thrown forward but it hits a player or the
ground and bounces forward, this is not a throw-forward."
It's not a knock on, but why would you want to?
yes it be a knock on because the only portion of the body that is allowed to set the bubble sorward is the leg...i hope i have answered you...!
No it's not. As a former player and intermediary, I can assure you it isn't. Look above to the person who added the statute concerning forward passes to the answer. It have to go sour the hands/forearms to be considered a knockon.
yes its a knock on because no matter what the orb its foward it gets call..it sux bc in a clash i almost scored a try but i accidentally knock it on
As you can tell, even true ruggers are debating this! I guess I other assumed anything above the waist was a knock on, intentional or not. Please see my source I down for the rest of my answer:)
I am Argie but I didn't saw the match (I have to play myself for the club).
I heard to be precise allowed but wht is forbbidenn now (ant it wasn't before) is the "Auto come first hit" that is throwing the globe against your own head to procure a lineout or whatever... but if the bubble comes from an oponent kick or something you are still allowed to spawn a head hit...
alright listen up, knock the ball forwards beside any part of your body above the hip is a knock on. you can see or grubber kick as much as you want, it can bounce of your knees and be in motion forwards as well. in recent times above the hip results in a scrum individual awarded to the defending side
stuart t, the answer below mine, it is a knock on, ozzie rl is different innit?if that ball bounces of your pave the way, and you are a teammate gather it, in attendance will be a scrum. if someone on the other team get it, advantage will be played.
No its not a knock on, surrounded by fact it is commonly referred to surrounded by aussie RL as a "falcon".
I would have thought a guide on but maybe specifically Motorsport.
Heading the ball forward is not a knock on, like peas in a pod rules apply as if it were kicked forward (off side etc.).
It's a knock on if you hit it forward, accidentally or purposely, near any part of your body except your foot. You are allowed to see the ball forward, and this is call grubbing.
It's only not a knock on if you use your legs.
Unless your charging down a see, in which armour you can legaly knock it forward with any chunk of your body.

College Rugby Boys Are Hot!
Football (American/NFL) is my favorite sport, but if I had to choose between those two, afterwards soccer.
my fav. sport of all time is rugby.
Well, I consider there is simply one possible answer to this and that's Rugby.
I'm past it very soon, but I was a beneficiary of the university team, the Dungle First XV, and the Dungle Old Boys XV. Being a bit of a whipper snapper I be more often than not the fly-half.
Anyway, posterior to the question. Rugger is a man's activity and the ladies love it too. Not like those mamby pamby footballers who sprawl on the ground screaming when they've received a slight kick on the shin. Yobs, that's the problem, they're over-paid, yobs. Wouldn't later 2 minutes on the rugger pitch.
Great fun in the hip bath and bar afterwards as ably.
Swing low! and all that.
Hope this have been of interest.
soccer, ive played it forever!
rugby. i do similar to soccer an have played it. but i repugnance it when they fall over for someone running chronological them. thats a bit poofy for my liking.
Why don't rugby players sustain injuries approaching footballers.?
Question:In the world cup the game is stopped every ten minutes due to somebody rolling around contained by agony on the ground, but in Rugby,
players hold broken noses and teeth missing but occasionally do you see a match stopped.
Answers:
Football by the enormously nature of the hobby concentrates mainly on the foot - with the speed and standard of football increased the tackle and contact to the lower part of the body will be rather hard & frequent. With rugby then again most of the contact will be experienced in the upper body - the training builds up the upper body to bring the hits. Probably since there is more 'flesh' (muscle & bulk) on the upper body the point & frequency of contact that can be sustained would be greater than around the ankles & shins.
The rolling around bit by the footbal players is probably due to the fact that surrounded by todays football/soccer games it is that hard to rack up a goal due to the high-ranking level of skill, any profit gained will be a bonus.
With rugby league now individual a fully professional sport, increased speed & fitness combined with the full-size number of games being played I reason injuries will be more common place. What you will spot is that due to the reasons purely mentioned before, the retirement age of the rugby players will fade, remember Paul Rendel 'The Judge' played international rugby for England in the 1980's at the age of 36 - it will be unlikely that players will represent their country at an international height at such an age in adjectives.
They do my friend playes rugby and people step on her (litteraly) they bite her (litteraly) she bring hurt alot but she still loves her team funn of guys lol.
honestly
the hits are not as intense
...
yes they bring a long *** weapon to hit you with, but the majority of rugby players are simply former, and wannabe football players
...
although i give a huge amount of respect to rugbe players, it is not a full contact sport compared to football.
As rugby is more physical you don't catch any of the football play acting. The nature of the team game means you lately have to find on with it and every rugby player have an injury story. Mine was when I markedly nearly completely tore a ligament in my ankle, I twisted it during a 7s tournament and afterwards continued to play in 3 more games! I needed physio for a month, since next I have hear it is more painful to crack a ligament thatn to break a bone and I didn't even take an ibuprofen!
Ben, what hobby have you be watching. Rugby is more physically demanding than footbal. The hits are full on, you just train to matter with it, you go and get trampled on, football has nought as demanding as the Scrum (I was a forward). How can you voice rugby is not contact compared to football? Football is a NON CONTACT sport whereas rugby is a CONTACT sport!
Because foot ballers are chicken and rugby players can take a great deal ( i guess they have to be competent to)
...ever notice how a football player would roll roughly speaking in stomach-ache, clutching his ankle, then his skipper.. and five minutes later be sprinting for the objective?
Football is rife with diving and play acting. In rugby they a short time ago get on beside it. Yes it hurts, yes there's blood dripping down his head - he a moment ago trots over the line to win it wrapped up and he's back on the corral.
...and yes Ben, what rugby games have you see? Rugby not a contact sport? Yeah right..
rugby players can take it because they're genuine men unlike these boys that play football and are too worried about their spike getting messy during the game, actual men play rugby and they can handle it, they're strong feisty built up men who can matter with it and merely get on next to it. It really surprises me that the footballers haven't requested ten minute breaks to re-do their hair and acquire a clean shirt, not that they return with that dirty anyway.
They do, but they generally aren't as very well publicised, at least within the U.K, because there is smaller amount interest in the sport, and a lesser amount of games are played. As a result, there is more time for repossession, and fewer family care. I muse the stakes involved in modern professional football, especially the World Cup, hold contributed to the culture of play-acting you are obviously referring to-this is not an inherent side of football, and I think you are unmerited to insinuate that this is the case. In add-on, believe it or not, footballers are more susceptible to injury because they come into full-blooded contact with one another more regularly than rugby players-rugby players generally go and get less "daylight" when they receive the orb that football players. As a disclaimer, I might add that I play football and rugby, and hold broken my nose, ankle, and lost several teeth playing football, and never be injured playing rugby.
Rugby players have tempoary substitutions so if someone is injured, they shift off the pasture for treatment instead of rolling on the floor.
Rubgy players don't gain an advantage from rolling on the floor whislt footballers go and get free kicks and pale cards.
Rugby players have more muscle and can sustain more strain before it become a problem.
unfortunately , rugby does produce some alter grave injuries to spine , neck and shoulders.
Many reported death from the game.
as for stopping play . ? dunno
Football players spend 90 mins trying to look hurt (and get hold of someone sent off / or gain free kick)
Rugby players spend 80mins trying to look unhurt.
Tougher guys surrounded by Rugby, and Phycologically u dont want the
opposition to know your hurt.
Errrr, nearby are as many games played contained by rugby as footy!!
Check out the Zurich Prem! doH!
Just not as many INTERNATIONAL team..
(And What twat earlier said rugby is a non-contact sport??)
Rugby is the world's most terrifying team winter sport, but it is a game for men, not phoneys, so you one and only stay down if you can't get up.
Rugby players do sustain injuries of assorted degrees. However, what they do not do is lug a dive just to receive the penalty as most footballers would. I am assuming by footballers you tight-fisted soccer players?
First of all rugby is played by men within shorts, not in tights. They are fit and maintain the game going. In football (american) they stop play every few minutes and their muscles, if any, cools down, hence the injuries. Keep it up rugby players !!!
Rugby is a dedication...it is a game of hooligans played by gentlemen who really can embezzle the heat unlike football which is a winter sport of gentlemen played by hooligans who prefer acting to the real spectator sport..i play rugby, i got a hip injury and i am still pushing for in a minute...a real soldier!
to be in motion on from that very righteous answer previous Rugby players dont consider a broken finger nail a point for a strecher to come on the ground
Response to Ben:
From an American rugger - I can tell you 2 things. 1) Division 1 football players focus we are "crazy". And 2) I guarantee you wouldn't last more than 10 minutes surrounded by a rugby game.
Now shush little boy...
its adjectives down to different training techniques over coming physical affliction barriers and focusing on the winter sport in appendage and keeping the ball within play
Never could figure that out. Soccer/football players try to gain an positive aspect over their opponent by fake an injury and getting a free kick, whereas it doesn't work contained by rugby nearly as well. Soccer/football is a contact sport, but rugby is a collision sport. Maybe at hand is truth to the old adage "Rugby players requirement leather balls." :o)
In rugby the players are stronger and tougher than footballers. Also the rugby players play pretty where as the footballers will cheat to win the team game!! Thiery Henry cheating french scumbag!! (If you saw the France v Spain game where on earth Thiery bashed into the Spainsh player intentional and fell to the ground and France got a freekick and score!)
