A proper match globe isn't the same price.
We play near the Guinness Premiership ball,
I deduce it's about lb80, and economically worth it. but I've never seen it for Dutch auction.
You get different training ball, usually a lot cheaper (25 - lb30)
They are tougher, but not as nice as a contest ball.
Also, you carry different kinds of training ball.
Scrum half ball are a fair bit heavier, you wouldn't want to play next to that all hours of daylight, and your hooker would never hit the lineout.
A replica ball is only just a general purpose globe but in club colours
