Tri Nations or Six Nations?
Question:Which is the best competition?
Answers:
Stylistically they are totally different tournaments because of the teams they are composed of. The Tri-Nations enjoy more speedsters and running tries but thats becasue the teams put an prominence on that. The Northern teams put more of an inflection on set peices. Although France and SA make exceptions to those rules.
In jargon of entertainment value, I'd own to say the Tri-Nations are more entertaining, next to bigger rivalries and more intensity due to the shorter season.
Tri nations everytime. It's awsome!!!!
get to be tri nations
Six-nations
I dunno
Six nation - the competition is different everytime. I think its Ireland's turn to win within 2007!
six nations more games and more to win for
Since Italy fixed the competition now call the six nations they hold steadily improved. If they own improved for the subsequent competition then they could wreak an upset.
They may not win it this time but they could take points from other team to cause an upset.
Promises to be a worthy 6 nations this season.
As a English devotee, definitely the Six Nations. Maybe the champ of the Tri Nations could play the winner of the Six Nations every year.
Tri Nations by far
Tri Nations!! I hope you are conversation about Union but Tri is the best, South, New and Aust. adjectives competing, the three best teams within the world! GO AUSTRALIA! even though NZ already won it!
Wow, rugby is my life garrrrrrr..!!
Peace

You cant really compare the two next to each other. But i you look at the world rankings you would enunciate the Tri Nations is the better competition.
All Blacks {Tri Nations}
France {Six Nations}
South Africa {Tri Nations}
Australia {Tri Nations}
Ireland {Six Nations}
England {Six Nations}
Scotland {Six Nations}
Argentina
Wales {Six Nations}
Samoa
both are different, i think they both own qualities and neither are better than the other
the six nation becouse you have six team and one chance to whitewash each although i regard as the rugby is better in the tri nation the six nations is the better competition.
tri nation although six nations offer a bit more variety what near having 6 team
TRI NATIONS HAS FEWER GAME BUT THE QUALITY AND RIVALRY IS MUCH HIGHER
6 nataions without a doubt
six nation, it is more honest, we in the northers hemisphere play rugby because we wallow in it not because we are getting paid big bucks .
6 Nations.
Simply because at hand are more games & the outcome is by no means a foregone conclusion.
Although I own to say the std of Southern Hem Rugby is fantastic, England are still World Champions.
Believe me For a Welshman to vote that it takes profoundly!
The Southern Hemi Guys can certainly be routed, remember Wales v Austrailia. Now how about bringing contained by the other European Nations and making a real spectacle of it. Then the Tri- Nations could invite the Islands etc. Bring it on... Anybody get any tickets?
Tri Nations, way more expancive than the Six Nations
Tri Nations but that's merely cuz i support the all blacks.
The Six Nations have got better since Wales get the Grand Slam as Italy and Scotland have also better; but Tri-Nations hasn't got plenty matchs. Perhaps if they expand it to the whole of the southern hemisphere Argentina or a Pacific Island troop would join and would enhance the competion.
So the process it's going I'd have to say-so Six Nations.
Tri Nations for entertainment and flair
Six Nations for more teams next to possibility to win it
Who do you assume is going to win the world cup of rugby?
Answers:
It's going to be the Springboks of course...
This is because of the following:
New Zealand will start as the overwhelming favourites, but will choke again approaching they do at every WC after 1987.
Australia are relying on a bunch of oldtimers who will all want their asthma pumps and walking sticks before the tournament is over.
England will be relying on Jonny Wilkinson, but on the eve of their first team game, he will get injured (again!) and they will self destruct. In an deed of desperation, they will phone Martin Johnson and beg him to return, but alas he will be on holiday and will rebuff to come.
Ireland, Wales, Italy, Scotland and Argentina will be there a short time ago to make up the numbers - there's no agency that any of them can win the WC.
The only TRUE threat to SA, will be France. With home ground advantage and a polite team, they will be tough to time.
However, we all know that they are really inconsistent (sublime the one moment, horrible the next), so the Boks will whip them 33-19 in the Final!
Cheers :-)
South Africa. Peaking at the right time.
China...
The All Blacks, they haven't won within a bit so they're due, they have the depth and the technique. Out of adjectives the teams they are the lone ones without serious question at key positions
E N G L A N D ! ! !
china
New Zealand, the loss be good for them as it showed them that they arent invincible, so they dont return with big headed and overconfident thus making them invincible as they can outclass any side surrounded by the world, as one writer put it, "the All Blacks can create a masterpiece contained by a flick of the wrist" they are just too dodgy, you make a mistake and they will pocket the ball the other road for a try
It breaks my heart but I have to vote New Zealand. They are a fantastic team and hold the potential to go far, as see in near win over the Bledisloe and Tri Nations. Remember they were within the Semis last time but they will jump extremely far, I would die from shock if they didn't make it to the finals. I also guess South Africa has alot of potential and as another user said, 'they are peak at the right time.' Well my team won't sink in need a fight! GO THE WALLABIES!!!!
Have a fantastic time
Peace

Although the All Blacks have be the favourite squad to win the world cup. This will be the first time that they go to the world cup properly prepared. The competition will be tuff but i believe the All Blacks will run all the agency.
South Africa.
Definitely China.
new zealand will win they own so many players at the top even they could use two teams and still win as be shown on their european tour last year and will be shown this year when they play england and france contained by november and their is so many more excellent players that will be their past not to long cant wait bring it on
i own to say the abs. south africa relys too heavilly on almost 3 players, and wont be able to keep going any momentum through injuries. id influence it would come down to nz and france and god i hope the stadium is bombed if france wins
France, homefield atvantage and the single team that can pounding an on form All Blacks.
The All Blacks are always the faviorate, but they come across to choke when it really matters.
Cheers Schuan
beyond question i want ireland to win it, and we might do okay, but cant see past modern zealand, the depth they have surrounded by their squad is unreal, they will destroy whoever is put contained by their path

Super 14 Rugby?
Question:All Black coach Graham Henry plans to rest 22 of his All Blacks for the first 7 weeks of super 14 rugby. Do you think the New Zealand super 14 team will struggle without these players or do you have an idea that they have adequate quality backup players to get them through to yet another New Zealand super 14 title?
Answers:
I presume next year's super 14 will be extremely interesting to monitor. I agree with someone's comments (Grant Fox?) that because the 'playing field' have been level, the competition will be a lot closer.
In directive to try and pick how teams will be artificial by their loss of All Blacks, it's interesting to look at which teams are doing very well in the Air New Zealand Cup.
http://www.allblacks.com/airnewzealandcu...
The top six team are all 'franchise' super 14 team, except for North Harbour who sit in second place.
Canterbury sit within 5th place, and the board is almost an inversion of the final placing of the NZ teams within the Super 14 (2006):
So, what am I saying? I'm maxim that it may be the blue's year in the super 14.
The blues will lose Kevin Mealamu, Ali Williams, Tony Woodcock and Joe Rokocoko.
With the depth within the Auckland and North Harbour ANC teams this year, these will smoothly be replaced, while other teams may suffer.
Maybe it's a well-mannered year to buy a season pass to Eden Park.

New Zealand has never be short of quality players, but the Crusaders and the Hurricanes are going to own problems. They might scrape by, but it won't be equal and they're likely to grasp walked adjectives over.
I don't think the international players will rest anyway, they'll probably turn up at minor clubs and play as A.N.Other like they used to do here (or possibly they still do it).
i think dey will struggle especially d crusaders
bt d lower team such as waikato chiefs might be gud
Newzealand teams tend to own strength in depth so i do not presume it will matter that much
Obviously cut of it will depend on the draw. If the first few rounds for the Canes and Crusaders are against the lower ranked team, then it won't really event so much. If it is against the top South African and Australian sides then yes, some games will probably miss on a bonus point or will fall in a loss for the NZ team which will result in a few smaller amount points on the table at the end of the competition. Since this is partially of the season he plans this for, I personally don't dream up it will do the NZers any favours at all and hopefully he revises this to a couple of weeks if anything.
I'm type of glad about it becasue it'll present a lot of players who are usually benchwarmers the unpredictability to ply. It'll also make the coaches judge of more combinatioms to try out and therefor will make the team game more interesting.
I think they will struggle a bit but they probably don't vigilance, Super 14 compared to the World Cup, they will choose the world Cup. I personally regard as it is ridiculous to rest 22 players but I guess Im not Henry so yeah, lol. I really want the Tahs' to win though, they are my team although I am a Queenslander lol! GO THE TAHS!
Peace
