Impoving time within 800m and 1600 meter?
Question:i'm 12 and in the 7th echelon, i'm a girl also. My fastest time is 2:52 for the 800m and i just needed to know how to improve it.
I would also similar to to run 5:30 mile by next year. my average for the mile is approaching 6:10... plz help! lol i enjoy all summer and crash down and winter to train on this! thanks

If you want a year long program to revolutionize your times then you can start by running mileage, read aloud 3 miles 3 times a week. Do intervals at your race step, or the time you project to be your race gait. You can do 4x400 at 1:15 with 2 minute rest. That would confer you an 800 time of 2:30. You can do 500, or 600 at slightly slower times. You might also do 800, and 1000 intervals at 2:45 through the 800. You can play with the times and rest period until you are comfortable and can see progress. I think you should also do some road race. A 5K race will stress you more than you can do by yourself contained by practice, so a race every couple of weeks is a apposite indicator of your fitness. Run easy on long runs, hit the track 2 days a week, your times will boost a bunch with goal.

sounds similar to you have tolerance, if so all you requirement now is speed short losing your endurance. push yourself everytime you run. if you train for the complete year without a thought you'll achieve way better. merely have like mad of confidence, determination and self-discipline. try doing speed workouts. you do 3 sets of 400m and 3 sets of 800m, time yourself and just receive better. it really helps if you run next to someone faster than you. your times are pretty good since you're solitary 12, keep on working. honest luck.

[800m Energy Distribution]?
Question:I'm running in a 800m competition subsequent week. I'm already quite prepared for the the physical member. However, I'm not too sure how I should distribute my energy. Since I am on the long distance side, should I sprint for 400m and later jog for 400m or should I do the contrasting?

No, you should try to run even. Bread the race down into 200's. Be assiduous not to go out too in a hurry or too slow on the first 200. Come through the 400 in what you project to be partially your race time. Run the 3rd 200 tricky, because you have to put out more stab to maintain your step, then come home within the last 200. You can not count on picking up the gait on your last nouns, because you may be too far behind the leaders to take into custody them, and if you go out too swift your slow down will be twice the time you ran too rapid on the first lap. The 800 is a sprint see in my eyes. I try to hit my first nouns about 5-6 second off of my 400 best time and after push myself hard the second 400. It other works better for me to go out complicated and come back strong. Good luck.

you should always set off your energy for finishing. i say you hurry the 400m and then sprint the other 400m. don't stay too at the back but don't make the mistake of trying to keep hold of in the head and then lose adjectives your energy. i relish sprinting the last 400m because by that time most of the other girls are tired so when i outdo them they really get nutty and that gives me mental get-up-and-go which keeps me ecstatic and going. in some cases they will try to hang on to up, but all they do is push me more, i'm drastically competitive and like it when they afford me a match, it pushes me to my max speed resulting contained by a better time.
I don't know what you run the 800 in, usually. I say lift a realistic time, cut it contained by half and subtract 2 or 3 second. For example to run 2 mins, the first lap should be :57.
For the second nouns, the race is the first 300m. Pick up your tread: in direct to keep the knees time consistent, you'll have to really push. The end 100m is pure heart, not speed. If you really have speed at the finish off, you could have run a harder see (since the first 700m is where most of the work is done, don't store anything for the final 100m).
Are my times okay?
Question:Hiyah I'm 14 years old and currently run surrounded by U15 womans Division and will be moving up to U17s in august at the start of the winter season! Would you be capable of tell me if my times and Distances are polite and if they are not tell me what I should aim for please. Its newly I don't want to asked my coach because he is very strict and we don't rely procure along. My PB For the 300m is 43.6 and the last time I get was 45.8, My PB for 200m is 26.1 and my final time was 26.6, My PB within Triple Jump is 8m 20 and that was my second distance. I also do Long jump and High bounce but I don't know what my PBs are! Could you please answer before my subsequent compition which is on the 15th of April! Thanxs Natz x

You're definitely ahead of your hobby. It's too bad you don't receive along with your coach though! You're solely 14 and have so much time ahead of you- your times are already great compared to high-ranking school times. Is here anyway you can run for someone else? Reason I ask is because the coach should be someone that pushes you and you look up to, not someone that you don't get along next to. I had a coach contained by college I hated so much (he be so undermining) that I actually switched colleges to be below another coach. He led me to national! Having a great coach makes adjectives the difference. You obviuosly have talent- don't agree to some mean coach filch away your spirit!

Your times are fine you shouldn't worry more or less it because that will only result surrounded by you getting more worried and your times will get worse

Your times are pretty good, esepcially for someone your age. Just save on doing what you are doing and you are sure to improve even more.

Question:okay well yesterday at my track come together i ran the 800 for the first time ever and i get 3rd place out of like 8 girls. i wanna know how to reorganize my time so i can get 1st. philosophy please!

practice the mile so that when you do the 800m it will seem approaching nothing. consequently do sprint work, i would recommend drills of 400m timing yourself and drills of 800m. try running with someone faster than you.
You do not enjoy to improve your speed. Just promote your consistancy. Have someone time you for each 200 metres and see the difference. Try to return with more stamina too. GOOD LUCK...
So what was your time? You get third, was that because you could not run rapid enough to entrap the other girls, or because you got tired? Look at your see, did you slow down, or did you kick contained by at the finish? Your race indicates what you involve to work on. Do you need lack of complaint or speed work? This race is difficult. It requires equal conditioning contained by aerobic and anaerobic training. Remember it is best to run even. Break it down into 200's each one should be close to alike time. If you slow down on your last nouns you went out too in haste, if you ran faster on the concluding lap you did not run the first nouns fast adequate. Try to run the first lap surrounded by what you project to be half your see time, run the next 200 thorny, because you need to put out more crack to maintain your tread, then run the final 200 to the finish. You can work on your pace by doing repeat 200 at see pace. You can also do 400 and 600 at see pace. You can do a 600 at what you want to run your see in, rest nearby for one minute, then sprint a 200; your combined time is what you can see in the 800. I resembling this as a good time trial to see conditioning and project a see time.
