Form cross-examine!?
Question:Hi everyone
I am currentley on jv track and run distance
the coach said my legs are too stiff and if i bent my knees more that it would change my speed, and expertise to run!
Does anybody have any suggestions?
Thanks everyone!
Answers:
You develop your running stride when you are extremely young, 5-9 yrs mature, because that's when you start to run around while playing. The best form is keep your legs bent a moment or two and your body slightly forward. The motion in your arms would be approaching you are going to hit your chin if you were to bring them up that far, but you don't. Your foot should be straight when you hit the ground, this keeps your body surrounded by line near your neck, put money on, legs, knees and ankles. When you are running don't bounce, this adds more counterweight when you land on respectively foot. make sure your body doesn't sway side to side and look forward and slightly down to the ground.
Remember. when you run, beside every step you take clutch, you have a force of up to 4 times your body shipment on each foot. As for your stride, your body will let somebody know you what is comfortable. Don't force it, work with it.
Good luck superstar!
hey i also run distance track wat do u run... economically i run the mile 2 mile and 800 my mile time is around 5 40-30. wat u prolly need to do is embark on your stride more.. hope i helped
get with your legs dont do the quickly walk item
your gait is pretty personal, so it's up to you to experiment with time trials and form change.
Personally, I run with a mid-foot strike (as challenging the heel-strike most people use) and it requires that your knees bend deeply. I've found this to reduce injury. I'd speak that generally staying loose is a pretty upright idea, but later again... running is an 'experiment of one' and what works for you might not work for another.
bend your knees...
visualize yourself running high knees or the large knee near a leg extension kick. exaggerate this surrounded by practice. it will take time but it will come around
It is vastly difficult to try and change someone's form. A lot of times you enjoy to just allow someone to run the path they feel comfortable. I deliberate trying to change someone's form is doing more damage to a runner.

I am a lofty college soph, and i run going on for a 25 to 24.8 200 meter drop how can i modernize that time.?
Answers:
Run eight 200m. Aim for 28s. Olympics runners do the same thing(even though they can do it faster). They obtain their conditioning down and its money in the hill. Every time you do them your that much closer to your goal.
The first answer is great, but also you may want to work on the blocks and the turn...come out low and stick to the inside row of your lane...also you should be leaning within the turn and you should feel yourself acquire straight up when coming out of the turn.
I wish the 200 be straight. I ran a 21.6 contained by high university...at the first 100 my time was 11.9. the second 100 be 9.7.
but i dont write the rules
Plyometrics. Use certain drills such as powers skips and straight leg bounds. This works most effectively when you squat twice your bodyweight, but that isn't obligatory. Other than that, make sure you are mentally prepared for the see.
That is not really much things you can do,
Because you know what you suppose to do,
The things is can you do it!
Eat healthy food and smaller quantity JUNK food!
Practice real HARD, don't speak I am tire, I can't run no more, I am thirsty I need marine, the weathers is too cold, too hot, no style I can run faster,
those are the reason you can't put together yourself run faster, can't improve the time!
Don't tender up!
Believe Yourself!
I'm 14 and i run the 100 meter hurtle contained by 12.0; is that average?
Question:Im in the 8th category and 12.0 was my best time
Answers:
That is a intensely good time for your age, probably above average
contained by that age group. You will improve as you attain older. Don't seize hung up on just one distance. You may not be the fastest 100 M
runner, but conceivably the best 200,300 , or 400M on your team; experiment. Give the hurdles a try. Also try a sprinter's enclosed space event ,like the long & triple jump, you could be a natural for these. Good luck.
i.e. a really good time for an 8th grader.
Take it from a kid who have success at a childish age. Just keep trying to reorganize as you get elder. Don't get hung up on times at infantile ages because you'll notice that profoundly of fast childish kids don't improve. Sometimes kids are slow when they're immature, steadily improve, and become all-state by the finale of high conservatory.
Just keep trying to develop and have fun, don't verbs about your times.
When I be young I could run a bit faster later that but you daon't have to verbs about it. Just train a short time more to run faster. You look at some kids that look in shape and they are partly way done and are alreday panting and going vastly slowly. So it should be a good time.
That is a virtuous time for a 14 year old. Hopefully you hold at it and dont get self-satisfied with your times. That will hold you working!
What size spike for rubber track. i run the 200 if that matter. the spikes that come near the shoes be 6mm.
Answers:
all spikes on rubber tracks inevitability to be small. I don't speak meters, but 1/8 inch is usually acceptable length, some tracks allow 1/4 inch.
I am a short distance sprinter (100-200m) and I prefer to use 1/4 contained by. spikes and all tracks I've competed at allow them (except some indoor ones that don't permit you use spikes at all). I personally prefer them over the 1/8 contained by. spike because the 1/4 in. ones grant you a better gripping on the track and helped me dramatically beside my starts.
1/4 pyramid or smaller
1/4 in.
