Questions just about joining track?
Question:I went to survey a track meet and fell within love with the sport. I in recent times don't know if i can push myself to do it. But can I do it? To consider joining senior year when others have be in track adjectives 3 years. I have no experience whatsoever. I'm more or less 5'4 and i dont know the appropriate weight to be at, and I'm not sure if contained by a year i will be any good if i start training presently. I don't even know how to train, how many miles to run, i cant run, i can hardly jog for awhile.or build up lack of complaint. I'm not physically fit like most track runners and I wonder if it's possible to own a track runnner body within a year. is nearby any tips i can get?
Answers:
Yea you can do it. the together age/expirience thing is not really a big factor.
Start training presently. Either go take a personal trainer, or ask the person who runs your school's gym to give a hand you get started. (beware...lots of trainers out at hand are crappy).
You may want to get contained by shape, or you could bulk up and become a thrower.
If you want to do long distance, then do miles. If you want to be a sprinter, next you do sprints...after you get within shape. Run miles or do w/e to get contained by shape, and once you are then you start doing sprints. Heres a workout I did a few times, not too frozen
100m, 200m, 300m, 300m, 200m, 100m.
Take however much break in between, and solitary do it once you're in shape.

It's worth the experience. If you get hold of determined you will most definitely progress.
It's your second year and you haven't done it before. That doesn't aim you shouldn't do it! It means you should. This is your finishing chance. Even if you don't do as okay as you want (which, if you are determined, you will do excellent), you will still have done something that you won't be capable of do after high arts school. Enjoy it while you can. Do everything you can. It's your last year!
Hey, if you approaching it, go for it! It's never too overdue to try something new. You simply never know. You will need to start running and build up persistence though. Start out easy, similar to 2 or 3 miles, and then work your passageway up to more. Anyone can improve surrounded by track. It just take hard work. Good luck! :)
The great entity about running is that you can other compete against yourself to get better. You can do it. Just join together the team...you may surprise yourself at what you can do. Your coach should abet you ease into the workouts, and your teammates will serve encourage you...you'll probably construct some good friends, too. Go for it! I started my senior year as well. I be 5-5 122lbs. I just tried it. It is definetely worth the experience. I started running my mile at 6:50 and my best time by the wrap up of the season was a 5 min mile. Track is an individual sport for the most piece. I would run this shedule: mon: 2m tues:3m wed:7m th:2m fri: rest and sat:7-9m
it's possible to hold a runner body in a year if you run partly an hour eveyday without walking. if you can do so you can be a distance runner. but if you want that method to work you can't chomp through sweets or fry foods for about a year. i did.
What shoes are best for runnning/sprinting?
Answers:
You want shoes that have a great deal of grips or ridges on the bottom of the shoe. This helps it grab hold of the trck and helps you run faster. If your into track spikes are the best entry.
In my opinion the Nike runners shoes are best. But at hand are many kind. They just inevitability to have a moral arch and cannot be flat bottomed.

If you are to be running on a track, you will want go and get to get track spikes, especially for sprinting. They are deeply lightweight and pretty much a thin flat-type shoe that you in actual fact screw spikes into the bottom of. For indoor, get indoor running flats and if ou are going to be running on multiple surfaces or of late practices, get average running shoes (I prefer New Balances, but tryout several brands in demand to find your preference)
On my outdoor track team, most runners enjoy a pair of regular running shoes for practice and spikes for meet. Good luck and run fast!

Are you asking a question to everyone, or contained by General?
Well, I run 200m, 400m, 800m, and would like to do hurtles.
But surrounded by General, there are events usually starting from a 50m sprint, to the long 20km marathons.
In high academy I ran anything from the 100m, 200m, 400m, 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400. My largest events were other the 200m along with the 4x200 and 4x100 meter relays. I never did any area events, they just weren't my entry.
Back when I was surrounded by high college I ran the 4x800m, 1500m, and the triple step.
I am out of school, but my son does the hurdles
1600, 800, and 3200
800, 1600, 3200, sometimes 1,000, and contained by the dm - 1,200
Mile and 2 mile. Sometimes the 4x800, which I hate. I similar to the 2 mile the best. It's what gets me on the district squad, and it's my best event.
im run at 400 and 200 but i close to pretty much every event
i run the 110 highs...the 4x2, and the 4x4

Answers:
Sprinting. Short legs are good for power running. 100m sprint and 200 are dutiful for you. If you have a 55m do that too.

Well honestly height have nothing to do near it, unless it's high hurdle then it may come surrounded by handy a bit. But I am about matching height as you and I run the 1600meter (1 mile). It's not as doomed to failure as it sounds, it took me a while to get surrounded by shape for it but it's a pretty cool event.
it really depends on how fast you run, if you can do a 6 minute mile, try the 800 meter if your a sprinter try relay
Height have nothing to do next to quickness. Have you timed yourself in the short track or are you a distance runner? I guess I would do what I am best at.
Well if you've never be in track i would voice you should try just almost anything. There are so many different things you can do...sprinting, long distance, throwing, jump, hurdles. So just walk out there next to an open mind and try anything you can, it's the best mode to see what you're good at and conceivably what you aren't so good at. After trying some different events you'll see what you approaching and don't like. Good Luck and enjoy fun!

it doesnt matter bout your distance from the ground you can run whatever you want but if you are really nippy run the short distance like the 100 or 200 if you hold high fortitude then run the longer similar to the 1600 or 2400 if your in between run the 800 and you may even want to try some paddock events.
it depends on what you're capable of. if you hold good tolerance, i suggest doing long distance.
