for 1500 you can score a Shearton by Olhausen , it have the same slate and rail as the more expensive models ,,,,,just the cabinet and legs are made from OSB ..its a angelic table for the money ....they can drop ship it to your house provided they dont have a local distributer, you may want to money someone to install it though ...
Post your question on the Library of Congress' website at: loc.gov and see what answers come up. They will probably direct you to several websites that you can check out pool table. Personally, if I could afford it I would go beside a snooker table as I find snooker so much more challenging than straight pool or 8-ball or 9-ball. Besides if you obtain to the point where you can win at snooker 50% of the time, you can probably belt all of your friends at their typical games of pool.

you never mentioned if your activity is on a bar table 4x8 , 4.5x9 or 5x10 if you are going to put it surrounded by the garage keep it covered and yes over the years freezing will mess near it big time. Check the local newspapers and hit dog pile or tou cows for query engines that hit multiple sites there are tons of worthy tables for Dutch auction ask about the condition of the table when you start getting answers you will straight away know how much this person know about table by what they say deem your response about that table fittingly. If you plan to have the table for a long time and want it to own lasting worth and even increase in helpfulness as well as play consistently obedient then I would find a gold crown Brunswick, conceivably the bowling alley model near the metal lets as they run a beating better than wood over time yo will want to find a better place for anything table you get so that it is competent to be well kept from extreme condition and you will know how to play on t more often because of exact climate control. Good luck and lots of cheery hours shooting

U.k. pool cues, what company's supply upright cues?

Question:my cue is a Riley, plain ash, two piece, 57'', 18oz.
Its my first cue and it's great because its mine, but I want my next cue to own more weight, style and standard.
I've been looking around, I close to Peradon for the quality, but I'd resembling something unique approaching a Viking, but I think they just make American cues.
Does anyone know any other company name or sites I can check out?
Answers:

Stick to Riley - they're the best! I've had mine for over 15 years and, through proposal, my friends have bought indistinguishable. No problems to report so why look for something different. I can't believe it's going to change your team game that much. If anything, I get a buzz out of clich¨¦ that my cue is very antediluvian (a bit like me) but it still works as economically as it used to.
On a serious note, if you are worried give or take a few the type of wood, weight etc. later buy your cue from a snooker club. Most clubs will allow you to 'try out' the cue before purchase which may put you at lighten.
Yes, I suppose that you will feel more confident near a 'good' cue in your mitt but, personally, I don't deduce it matters that much.
I could rabble on for ages but I don't know how biddable you are or could become so what I say could be fruitless.
Don't spend a fortune on a dream. A lot of the top snooker players started out near not much more than a piece of wood with a chalked tip at the extremity.
If you are not thinking of going professional or such-like spend your money on more play rather than the tools you work near.
Good luck - I'll look out for your name!
dunno sorry
predators - they are virtuous cues. to make it better, use a moori tip!
try rileys. They get everthink u need
I'm from South Africa so don't know any cue companies within the U.K but this will maybee help:

How long will it bear for a pool table to warp?

Question:i want to buy a pool table but i don't want it to last a short time ago for a little bit. i hold 2 friends and all their pool table have cruel and they both have finished basements. i own a unfinished underground room but i want to put a pool table made of wood down nearby. will it warp? how long will it take untill it warp?
Answers:

table dont warp unless they have a simulated slate top ... attain a decent table next to at least 7/8 three piece slate and you will enjoy no problems ...your friends must have boughten cheap table ....
watch the moisture content of adjectives places where you hold a table whether cheap or not all wood products can warp within the right conditions get a pious table and then a de-humidifier and keeping it running when it is even a bit clammy out and you shod never have a problem three piece expect pro quality slate is a big give support to and plays much better than cheap stuff a table is just close to a car if you get hold of what you pay for and you buy a polite one the repair on it should be minimal good luck and chirpy shooting

What size pool ball will I requirement for a full size snooker table?

Answers:

I feel I want to clarify a few points. Snooker balls are 2 1/16" and pool ball are 2 1/4". Pub tables contained by the UK are different than in America. I've hear that the cue ball is smaller than the intent balls on pub table in the UK. This is almost never the casing in America. The cue globe and object ball on American bar table are almost always impossible to tell apart size (2 1/4"). The cue ball is usually heavier or have a magnet or iron plug inside to separate it from the object ball. Of course, if you're playing on anything other than a coin-op table, the cue globe and object ball will be the same size and cargo, whether or not the game is snooker or pool. Whether you are playing on an American snooker table (5'X10') or a full size English snooker table (6'X12') the ball should be 2 1/16". M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.
Full size?
Not full size.
why would u use pool balls on a 12ft snooker story
Pool and snooker are two completely different games. Why would you use pool balls on a snooker table? In pool, the white globe is smaller than the rest of the balls since it have to be able to 'return' by the device installed. This doesn't apply to snooker because you can just pick it out of the pocket.
In snooker, the ball are 2 1/16" (2.0625") in diameter and adjectives the balls are alike size.
If you want to check your pool balls out after they should be 2" in diameter, apart from the white orb which should be 2.375" in diameter.
2 and 1/8
Just use the reds and colours, if you are lucky the snooker ball will include a dotted white for billiards. Use this as an extra colour.
In real pool the white is not a different size.
But the pockets are mode different, as well as the rise of the rail contained by relation to the centre of the globe.
Effectively what this means is that you can't really play a obedient pool game, but I do it when I can't get hold of a pool table, and it's just as much fun.
However - to answer your interrogate.
All pool balls should be standard full size American. Don't faff around near anything else. They will suit your snooker table well adequate.
Pool and Snooker is two completly different ball games
8 Ball pool is played using a black globe and 7 striped balls and 7 solid ball
9 Ball pool is played using 7 solid balls numbered 1 to 7 and 1 strip bubble (no. 9) and a black ball
Snooker is played using 15 red ball,5 coloured balls and a black bubble
a full sized snooker table is 5x10 a regulation golf table is 6 x 12 at least it be in Kansas City surrounded by the 60's there are several games that can be played on a snooker table one apparently is snooker, the other is golf and if you want to add pocket inserts you can work at three railing or carom or just capture a set of billiard rail for it nearby are however pool ball set made for snooker table as a sort of game/crossover. When you buy them consult with the oldest creature you can find in that shop and ask THEM what you obligation for what you want chances are they will know what you necessitate good outdated snooker tables are concrete to find I know I have three of them and they be indeed hard to find at tiniest ones in honest condition
