I'm glad to hear that you are looking into formal instruction. I teach pool, but inopportunely not snooker. I know for a fact that at hand are many qualified pool instructors available, so it would give the impression of being very credible that you shouldn't have too much trouble finding a reputable snooker instructor. I would probably find out what are the fundamental governing bodies for snooker and visit their websites. They usually will enjoy a contact page. I don't know if you are in the UK, but the BCA (Billiards Congress of America) does enjoy a few pool instructors in the UK. There's a honourable chance that one of them are also familiarized with education snooker or perhaps know of someone who could teach you. Check out that website as very well. I have never hear of a personal Billiard trainer, but Im sure it is not hard to find one. Just suspend around a billiard hall or establishment and seize to know some people or TRUE good players. Then only ask. If that doesnt happen I recommend buying a DVD. Or newly learn the spectator sport and practice, practice, practice. You will get better contained by time grasshopper.
There are definately snooker coaches out there. I've have a coach for the last year or so and it have done wonders for my game. He is registered as a coach through the snooker association contained by my state, so as straight_shooter mentioned, you would be best to get contained by touch with your nearest association, or ask around where on earth you play.

I assume you're referring to a draw shot. Draw shots are often intimidating to infallible players. You need to label sure that your cue tip is properly rounded, scuffed, and chalked up first. If this isn't done, you're only asking for a miscue. I'm not going to get into proper stroke mechanics here, but using a proper stroke, preserve your cue as level as possible and hit low on the cue ball's vertical axis. Do not angle the butt of your cue. If you're using a proper stroke, you will have a biddable follow through. Make sure you're not jabbing or poking at the cue orb. So many culture do that because they are afraid of the cue ball coming put money on and hitting their cue tip a second time causing a double-hit foul. How much draw you do will depend upon how low you are hitting the cue ball and how complex your stroke is. When the distance between the cue ball and reason ball is greater, you will involve to increase either your speed or lower your cue tip to gain indistinguishable amount of draw. Depends on the personage. The race of a human being has nil to do with competency. Anyways, "Americans" includes a lot of population, including Filipino Americans and African Americans.
So, Americans, because there are so much more Americans than Filipinos.
Currently it's no contest.
Filipinos by a significant margin. Just look at the principal tournaments over the last year or two, and you will see the Filipinos surrounded by the top 5 or so consistently outnumber the Americans or any other county for that matter.
Filipinos are the better players right very soon.
it's not a question of see. it's all give or take a few practice.
In terms of natural talent, Filipinos are better. They are more innovative and imaginative. They aren't afraid to experiment next to unconventional shots even surrounded by big games; hence, they excel in the sanctuary and kicking departments. Since most Filipino players, including the great Efren Reyes, are hustlers or money players, they are known to pocket risks, resorting to impossible and unthinkable shots, in writ to win. Whereas, American players play with precision and are obedient at pocketing, but they're less skilful when it comes to safety and see shots.
i think, currently filipinos are sligthly better within playing pool than the rest of the world. part of the rationale is the culture. filipinos has the tendancy to bend rules and look for easier process. this help them surrounded by playing pool. hoy pinoy ako
As the term go."on any given Sunday"...it is really a "coin toss"..these players are so damn good that it is unreal how trouble-free they make this "hard" spectator sport look...just one out of column..one bad or lucky roll.or only a bad break.or even a miscue might be the entity that decides the clash...Americans.Filipi... pros can play and it I think it habitually comes down to a lucky break of some kind...what I would contribute to play half as pious as they do..I vote for the last one at the table!..still from America....so GO YANKEES!.OOPS!..I expected go YANKS!!
