Agassi be one of the WORST things to happen to tennis. No offense to Andre intuitively, cause I have an idea that he's a great player and a great sportsman.
But prior to Agassi, the game be primarily played at the net. Serve and volley be the dominant style of play for the entire history of the game. Since Andre's rise to stardom, baseliners enjoy been the dominant style of play and it is BORING to see. It was even OK when a serve and volleyer would play a baseliner, but presently it's just baseliner vs. baseliner. Totally unwatchable. Combine that beside Sampras (Best Player ever, before Federer, no doubt), and even Becker since him, they made Serving, not Serve and Volley, a hugely sucessful tactic. Now the game is full of Servers and Baseliners. That's why the team game died in popularity.
It adjectives fairness, it is not really Andre's fault. The technology of racket and the strength of younger players would have made serve and volley obselete anyway, it's purely that Andre was the actual facade of the movement.

No matter if one be a fan of his or not when he be young and crazy, one could consistency nothing but respect and reverence for the man in the latter stages of his profession. So yes, he was one of the best things that ever happen to tennis (I guess depending on your age and personal preference there's nil wrong if you think it be THE best ... in reality, I would probably say impossible to tell apart too since I'm only 30 and I feel his influence the most).
However, for you to say that he be "the ONLY good thing" is only being blinded by your eagerness as a fan of Andre or person ignorant/not knowledgeble about the hobby of tennis and its history. There were so heaps great personalities surrounded by tennis that have impacted the spectator sport over time and some of those names hold been mentioned above by the other associates that have answered. Still, what's true is that tennis at this point surrounded by time seriously lacks in jargon of strong personalities (good or bad) so his retirement newly makes the negated seem so much more significant.

I suggest federer and sharapova both is the best, but federer is very able player as forhand and backhand is accurate and very countable, placing bubble in corner side and one of best backhand player i enjoy ever saw, and strong and continuity.

Roger Federer no doubt. Not solely does he have the physical hobby, but he also has the metal toughness. Maria Sharapova also have a pretty good virtuous, but a lot of the time it isnn't suitable enough. As for mental toughness, she does enjoy a good team leader on her shoulders. But come one, Roger Federer is just the best, which is why he have been number 1 for approaching the past 3 years.
