Is Roger Federer the best tennis player ever?

Answers:

Roger Federer of SWITZERLAND is the best tennis player in the Open era, he's in recent times unstoppable, who could ever beat him at this moment? i reckon he will surpass Pete Sampras of UNITED STATES as the most Grand Slam victor. (Pete Sampras has won 14 Grand Slam titles)
Not until he win the French Open.
no doubt's whatsoever.
well, i didnt monitor every tennis player :-), but that guy(Federer) seems unconquerable, i think even Nadal cant slaughter him in the shape he's within right now.
NO bjorn borg
No, he is one of the great of adjectives time. But he needs to be judge at the end of his craft, not on the middle of it. He is a great player, no doubt just about that. But let the course of time give an account.
Well isn't that OBVIOUS?
i think so ..he is simply the greatest sportsman of adjectives time ..not just tennis
He could be, if he win a few more trophies.
depends on who's lookin'. for a fan similar to me, yes he's the best.

anyway, congrats to Fed and well done, Fernando!
Best player at stretch out era,no doubt! Roger rocks!
I mull over 'the Borg' was the best tennis playing appliance ever.
no lol
he will be. once he wins the french unstop, who can deny him that title? pete sampras never won that particular august slam. just as rod laver said within his interview with star sports, federer have every single shot known to tennis contained by his repertoire and he can execute all of them excellently.

his backhand used to be his achilles heel, but look at it presently. he's ripping backhand winners down the chain with facility. clay used to be his weak surface, but I'm pretty sure he'll work on that and nadal will own no chance consequently.
i don't think so. i believe serena williams can pace him easily.
Let's look forward to the French Open this year.
Maybe. He have yet to win a Grand Slam though. If he win the French at Roland Garros and goes on to win a Slam consequently yes he is the greatest ever
Yeah
YES.

By the time his career is over, within won't be any room for any debate as there 'might' be immediately (with some people).

We are truly witnessing the greatest ever right before our really eyes!
Lots of people here reckon so, but they are missing an meaningful point. Federer is a great player but he has no genuine competition - no-one else who plays in this era will be remembered when they are gone.

Samapras be a better player in almost every respect, the best serve ever and a forehand that Fed can solitary dream about. Sampras excelled surrounded by an era FULL of all-time greats - Becker, Agassi, Muster, Lendl, Edberg. All of these players will be remembered as among the best ever, yet Sampras eclipse them all so he have to be the best.

However, in jargon of TALENT there can solely be one choice - the ONLY man to win ALL FOUR grand slam events on four different surfaces.

ANDRE!
No. We maintain forgetting Bjorn Borg, who played in an error where on earth Conners, McEnroe, and Lendl were at their peak. I don't care if Fed win the next 20 noble slams, w/o any competition it doesn't mean anything.
isn't that plain
Roger is the real LEGEND
Of corse man!!!do you hold any dude????'
I'd have to utter YES to that.
hes close hes not quite ther even so but when he wins the french depart and over the next year if he carrys on surrounded by this form he will break every record surrounded by the book
not yet!!!! sampras have more slams, and weeks at #1 but he is gettin there

I enjoy a hopper full of used and flat tennis ball but I really want to practice my serves what should I do?

Question:What I am wondering is first of all if flat tennis ball would affect my serve in any path. And second of all I am wondering if the ball will actually amend my serving with newer tennis ball. By the way most of the globe are from the winter before concluding winter. If you could help I would strongly appreciate it.
Answers:

Nah, don't verbs about using flat ball for serving. If you were trying to cram a kick serve, after you might want to use newer balls to see how it's really kicking.

But if you're of late practicing a regular serve, the only things that concern is if the ball clears the lattice and if it lands inside the service box.

The serve is the only shot we, as tennis players, spring ourselves. You are not moving and you control the ball up to that time you hit it. So in notion the serve should end up as our strongest shot.

Practice, practice, practice some more, and when you bring tired, practice a little more. ;)
I'm not a pro or anything but surrounded by my opinion, a globe is a ball and practicing beside any kind of globe is good. When I play, i practice my serves beside a bunch of not-so-good balls but i mull over it works. If you are trying to work on your stroke,/swing for your serve, it's perfect to use those benevolent of balls, but if you are trying to work on perfect the angles and placement, it's best to use the best balls you own.
Serving with used, flat tennis ball will definitely be really different than serving with fresh, investigational balls so obviously your serve will look different in practice than during a game. By the way, tennis ball become "officially" unplayable only a few days after they've be taken out of a can, no matter if you if truth be told play with them or not.
That doesn't imply however that you shouldn't practice with elder balls. After adjectives, the purpose of practicing is to learn the stroke, the timing, the proper technique and to do it over and over again. It's closely easier to adjust to a different ball than to revise the whole entity from scratch.

The game of tennis (more properly prearranged as lawn tennis) be developed in the 1870s from the winter sport of royal or real tennis, which have been played for centuries. While both games are similar, surrounded by that they are both based on two or four players conflicting each other from different sides of a web hitting a ball wager on and forth, the type and size of court, method of scoring, etc., are very different.

Real tennis ball have be traditionally made from a spherical stitched envelope of leather or cloth stuffed with rag, horsehair or similar material, while tennis ball have other been base on rubber.

From the beginning of grass tennis in the 1870s, India rubber, made from a vulcanisation process invented by Charles Goodyear surrounded by the 1850s, was used to produce lawn tennis ball.

Originally tennis balls be made solely of rubber, but the wearing and playing properties of the balls be improved by covering them near flannel stitched around the rubber 'core'. The ball be quickly developed by making the core hollow and pressurising it next to gas. Originally, core manufacture be based on the 'clover-leaf' principle whereby uncured rubber sheet be stamped into a shape resembling a three-leaf clover and this was assembled into a roughly spherical space by machinery adapted for the purpose. Chemicals generate pressurising gas were added prior to closing the assembly and these be activated on moulding the core to a spherical shape within heated cavities. The process be used for many years until the precision of the winter sport demanded a higher level of uniformity (particularly relating to wall thickness) than could be obtained near the clover-leaf method. Now it is usual to compression mould two separate 'half-shells' which are assembled together to produce a 'core'. The original flannel cloth be replaced by special 'melton' cloth made specifically for the purpose and the stitching has be replaced by a vulcanised rubber seam.

Historically, balls be either black or white within colour, depending on the background colour of the courts. In 1972 the ITF introduced pallid tennis balls into the rules of tennis, as research have shown these balls to be more marked to television viewers. Meanwhile Wimbledon continued to use the traditional white orb, but eventually adopted pallid balls surrounded by 1986.

Until high altitude ball were introduced into the rules contained by 1989, only one type of tennis globe was allowed. The Type 1 and Type 3 ball were introduced into the rules within 2002.

Other properties of the tennis ball hold changed over time. The range of forward and return deformations - the adaptation in the ball's diameter beneath an increasing and decreasing load of 8.165 kg - own varied over the years, reaching their current values contained by 1996.

Federer won, what's contemporary?

Question:7-6, 6-4, 6-4. Gonzalez played a great first set, but went downhill from in attendance. I was going for Gonzalez only just to see the reaction.
Answers:

You enjoy to admire the road Gonzales took the game to Roger. He is a great player beside a big future. But one the champ he is Roger got his method and took control from there. There be some brilliant tennis played by them tonight but in the winding up he still took it in 3. He is freshly too good. He dug open to take that first set from Gonzales and I ruminate Gonzales sort of burnt himself out surrounded by the first set. Too much too early. Only Roger could own beaten him contained by that set.
Well Gonzalez played very very well, but hey that's Roger Federer we are talking more or less.
Well...It was a great game...Both Played TENNIS...not like Sharapova contained by the finals...:)
Lol. True that, but Federer is really good and Gonzalez played really ably too. I guess it comes to experience but I didn't know who I really wanted to win that meeting. I'm sad the Aus Open is over though, adjectives the players competed well. I hope to see Gonzalez again. :)
We know that he only played even better than before.
agree next to what andygurl said.
Federer won - And wasn't it great?
What's new - He didn't cry when he get the trophy.
Federer is the king. He doesn't let outside influences influence his playing unlike Lleyton. I know who i wanted to win but i wasn't sure who would considering i haven't see Gonzalez play a game. ; )
