Is 5'4" 1/2 short?
Question:My friend and I are 13 and are going into the eighth grade. She's 5'2" 1/2. She of late went for a complete check up and the doctor told her she would solitary grow up to be 5 feet and 4 1/2 inches towering. She's really bummed because I'm taller than her and we both play sports (volleyball & others). Do u think 5'4" 1/2 is too short to play volleyball? Is it even THAT short at adjectives? I'm going to be 5'8" and she's jealous of me!

Well, I'm 27 years infirm and i'm only 5'0, my mother is shorter than me. I wouldn't step on what the "charts" say, it's pretty much adjectives genetics as long as you are vigorous otherwise :)
well im 5'4" too. and i play volleyball as okay. just convey your friend that it matters how capably you play, not how tall you are. even tho human being tall have its advantages, being short does too.
It's probably a bit short to play professionally, but it's completely average. That said, here are basketball players who are only a few inches taller than that, and they made career for themselves surrounded by 7.5 ft giants. If she desires to keep playing, there's nought stopping her.

im 15 im 5'4,im in going to the 11th order no one picks on me girls feel im sweet.its kind of short but who care just be who u are,volleyball does not require much loftiness youll be fine.do you know EVA LONGORIA she is 30 years old she is individual 5'1 look at her everyone likes her.

doctors are wrong roughly speaking this, they can't predict height
5'4" and partially is not short. I have closely female friends that are shorter than her but plays massively good contained by volleyball. Don't let loftiness interfere here to excel in sports. Tell her that she can excel within other parts of the game.

It's give or take a few average so don't even worry roughly speaking it.
The average height for a girl I believe is 5'6", so 5'4" 1/2 is really deeply average. As far as volleyball is concerned, it really depends. Usually height help for blockers and hitters simply because they don't have to hop as high to block or hit. However, a shorter girl beside a well developed vertical step can be just as significant. The bad entity about echelon in volleyball is that mostly the taller you are the harder it is to pass accurately. So given your point, if you could learn to accurately pass by and dig, you'd be wonderful for a Libero. And this is the same next to other sports as well. For instance, contained by basketball your center is going to be tall. You have need of tall players to win tips and block inside shots, but the guards are some of the shorter players and they can use thier distance from the ground to their advantage because by keeping the bubble low to the ground they are able to enjoy superior control and it makes it much harder for defender to get at the globe.
So all that self said I think at hand are several important things to remember:
1) You both are still growing and doctors can't predict increase very capably. Even if they could, there are other exceptions so you just don't know
2) Sports are in the order of athleticism. Everyone has a different body which have different strengths and different weaknesses, the players who cram to take ascendancy of thier body and overcome thier weakness will be the most successful
3) Unless you are planning on going into professional sports, which it doesn't really nouns like you are consequently just relax and wallow in the game. Don't you enjoy enough things to verbs about at 13? You own the opportunity now to play these fun games, stop worrying and in recent times enjoy it. All too soon your going to hold to get a employment and won't have much time for sports. So work complicated, have fun, and don't verbs about anything else!

I am 5'2" 1/2 and I played volleyball form 6th to 9th! I have a friend specifically not even 5 foot yet and she played volleyball! So its not to short!
Best shoe for vball and track training.?
Question:Hey,
Im currently a sophomore in highschool and play plenty of sports. Currently im looking for some running/ vball shoes. (Track training, my arts school provides the splikes for competition use) I understand asics are really honest at this. But i really dont like their design. they look so bleak.lol. I was wondering, if i should travel for the Nike Air Max 360, I heard they are incredibly light. But I a moment ago want to get a flawless opinion

If you can, you should get two different shoes. I suggest Mizuno if you do not approaching Asics. Mizuno with a rubber sickly gummy sole will be good for volleyball. I lately got Mizuno running sneaks for $30 at Bob's. I'm sure if you shop around you can obtain some good running sneaks too. Find a running website online.you will see the best shoes in that.
