Any tips on overhand serving for volleyball?
Question:Im a great underhand server but my coach says I obligation to learn how to overhand serve. Im have a problem hitting the ball thorny enough to attain it over the net.

SWING UR ARMS!! thats the trick... elevated toss, fast swing, close to your hitting someone who you absotively dispise... that helps me a great deal.
Just make sure you hold your hand contained by a fist. I throw the ball up within the air when I am doing that but you don't really hold to. Then just hit it beside as much force as you would underhand and there you enjoy it.
Don't have ur foot in a fist you lose adjectives control. Keep your hand get underway. You can use your body to hit it just similar to a hit. Take one to three steps to get rather momentum and then throw the globe up and hit and follow through. You can arch your back for a while and swing through with you body for extra force.
Just build sure u r throwing the ball up straight and when u swing ur arm dont permit ur arm go to the side to much effect that makes it harder. hit it unscrew hand w/the ur lower close to ur wrist the extremely bottom of ur palm and just practice liffing weights can also relief.u can also jump to capture hight it depends what on wat ur having problems
Ok I am right hand so I'll explain everything with that within mind.
Start with the bubble in your disappeared hand and lately relax, think just about getting the ball over. You enjoy to relly focus since it is mostly brain work also. Start with your foot together. As you toss the ball surrounded by the air beside your left foot, aim with it too. Also, take your right hand equipped as you toss the ball. Your right mitt should be in queue as your right ear. Don't toss it too high because as it falls down, it will simply gain speed and you might miss it. When the ball is at the extreme spot that it can go, turn your disappeared hand facing to the web, and hit the ball. How you should hit the orb is this: You have your right appendage in chain with your ear so, weave up and stretch back a bit, but your foot should still be in flash with your ear. First, practice your toss over and over. You need consistency, it should be surrounded by the same spot every time. If you are have to chase your toss you are starting a serious disadvantage. Second, keep the foot you serve with up around your leader. Very often family learning to serve hold a tendency to start serving near the arm at their waste or they start next to it high and after drop their arm. just swing ur arm really speedy. but not to fast. stiffen ur mitt and and hit it wit ur palm.
the most important section is the follow through
I start off next to my knees kinda bent. i swing my arm up and make it tight (this sends the orb further for some reason. if you're loose, it won't jump anywhere). Next, toss the ball into the atmosphere and follow through with your arm.
if you're right hand, have your vanished foot stepping forward.
this works for EVERYONE.
all of the girls on my volleyball troop got a stronger serve by using this technique that our coach skilled us.

**Elbow High- Rigid Wrist/Hand

~~Stable stance.
Pick a target.
Transter your Weight from rear to front foot.
Floow through to target.
Fast armswing for deep/hard serves; slower for short/soft serves.
But, the most big thing is to NOT RUSH YOURSELF!!

the key to a good overhand serve is:
1. high-ranking elbow, don't let it drop by your chin it should be soaring up at the top of your head.
2. flawless toss, the toss has to be a suitable 1-2 feet above your person in charge to make sure it get over the net...also, clear sure it is out in front of you so you don't enjoy to arch your back or lunge forward to carry it over
3. high contact point, hit the bubble when it is at the highest point surrounded by the air..if you hit it when it's too low it will be frozen to get the globe up and over the net
4. follow through, your arm should follow through down by your hip on like peas in a pod side you served on (i.e. right side if you're right handed, vanished side if you're left handed)

If your a right hand person afterwards make sure that your departed foot is straight. Bounce the ball a couple of times and keep hold of your hand kinda stiff so your arm is close to speghetti! lol Anyways Keep practicing and soon you will be a pro, at serving over hand! Good luck
What is the different between mundane volleyball and sand volleyball?

There's actually alot of differences.
*Each partially of the court measures 8 by 8 meters, not 9 by 9 as in indoor volleyball
*Overhand finger pass are called greatly tightly when receiving or attacking. Unless executed extremely cleanly and square to the shoulders, they are ruled illegal. The exception is delivery a hard smash.
*The standard for double hits when using overhand finger pass and hand sets is much stricter than contained by indoor volleyball.

Other differences I'll give:
*While setting you are allowed to "deep dish" which is crooked indoor.
*While for the most part offense indoor is bombing the orb beach uses much more of a shot test which include roll shots and dinks.
*Communication is more important surrounded by beach. From blocking signals to serve recieve to calling shots.
*Indoor runs tons quick attacks and combination plays. Beach on the odd occasion does. Sometimes a quick set is possible but in danger of extinction.
Although both are volleyball, they really are different games, both physically and mentally. Indoor is a great team sport to be precise very nifty and powerful. Can you really beat a hours of daylight at the beach tho?
sand volleyball is 2 against 2 while normal volleyball is 6 against 6

normal volleyball is played on a court near 6 people on respectively side. beach volleyball is played on the shore, or a sand court outside with 2 players on respectively team. and i would say aloud that beach volleyball is much harder than mundane volleyball because you only enjoy 2 people and you enjoy to move fast on the sand.
Normal Volleyball have a setting inside of a gym. Normal has 6 players on the court. Beach Volleyball is on a sand and has 2 players playing.
