VolleyBall Questions and Answers
How come volleyball is considered a feminiene sport?
Question:and how come during the girls volleyball season more people come to watch the girls troop? our teams are both really worthy.
Answers:
Sports that are considered masculine involves like mad of contact and physical stress, such as football, hockey, rugby. All you need to hit surrounded by volleyball is...the volleyball.
who knows...
I don`t know cause in attendance is no physical contact. However, I love playing volleyball and I know it is unisex; one just have to be a bit tall and/or competent to jump dignified
I don't know why it is such a girly sport.but of course more associates are going to watch the girls troop! It's 12 girls at a time that guys can watch surrounded by thier short shorts dive on the ground to get the globe.duhh
It's probably considered more of a girl's sport because it's not as aggressive as other men's sports. Personally, I think guy's volleyball is cooler to monitor because they slam down each others throats sooo hasty while women aren't quite as aggressive but more family come to watch women because of how they look plentifully of the time. Not only do you achieve competitive volleyball but then partially naked women too? More guys will come to examine that even if the guys team is better. Women's volleyball seem to be televised more than men's too which may be a use it's considered a feminine sport because that's usually the only ones you see playing it on TV so you catch conditioned to it being a woman's sport.
because lofty schools don't proposition boys volleyball. at least not around my nouns. but more people come to see the girls squad because they wear very !short! SPANDEX shorts. i would know because i am one of the guys at my elevated school that supports our squad not only because our friends play for the squad but also because we get to see their teamates and opponent in volleyball attire.
i reason it is because us girls dont use physcal violence close to in football or soccer.
but i love guys who play volleyball
You can't deny the sex appeal aspect. I work for my college's volleyball troop and I know that quite a immense percentage of our audience is made up of horny football players and, well, other horny twenty-somethings. Yeah, near are some that come for the merit of the sport, but really the majority of those are the players' families and boyfriends, who could slickly fall into that previously category.
never heard of it self feminine. girls do look better.
we dont even have a boys troop at our school
IDK
Girls look better doing it.
Probably because within the USA it is mostly thought of as a women's sport (yes those shorts due come too mind) especially at the NCAA college level. Not several Men's team not here and this probably goes adjectives the way down to the HS horizontal. Football, baseball, and basketball are thought of as traditional men sports. Even lacrosse is growing in popularity.
ESPN/2 show the women's NCAA championship as well as adjectives the regional cable sports networks (FSN/CSS) show regular season games. In many regions of the country such as the SEC no Men's troop therefore no exposure.
Also since their is no pro-league various people will not construe how physical this game is played overseas where on earth it's not thought of just a women's hobby. Ever seen the Italian men or Russians? Brazilians are really right also.
because there is no hitting for sound out 1. and because the girls wear short shorts and are hot for question 2. lol its the truth.
I dont really know. it isn't really but it is considered. I ponder its because like at hand isn't really any physical conatct. But like football is considered a guys sport but some girls still play it, volleyball is considered a girl sport but some guys still play it.
I never considered volleyball girly! Its a competitive sport, own you seen those awesome sand players and male professional team. Once you see a game believe me you'll deem twice before adage it's girly:). And believe me this is coming from a woman who's played the game for 10 years.
to notify you the truth it isn't a girls sport... it is shown that women don't wanna play Volley ball due to the out fits that they enjoy to wear aka the Bikini... women with roomy body's don't wanna wear a little bikini suit its call body image general public and that's why its shown more on TV. but hardly any women play..it. i say aloud they should change this and more women will play...
i dont ruminate that its a feminine sport but at my school guys arent a nouns to play on the team but they can practice next to us there are guys that are better near an all guys troop compared to an all gurls troop. id love to study a guys volleyball team but adjectives the guys would be to embarrassed mabey they freshly dont think your efficient of playing such a fun sport for high academy or college they could just cogitate that it should be left for the pros
;P
This belief comes from High School sports...volleyball is usually played at equal time as football. Women play volleyball, guys play football. Many HS's don't allow men to play volleyball, or women to play football.
As you get elder, you'll see this belief go away. Many general public who still consider it a feminine sport have any never played, or never watched a professional meeting. I've seen fingers broken, nose broken, black eyes, hyper extended knees, twisted ankles...non contact sport? Maybe you don't hit other people next to your own body, but that ball can hit speeds surrounded by excess of 80 mph.
I invite any guy who considers themselves "too manly" to play volleyball to step out on the court across from me.
Well more people probably come to keep under surveillance the girl's team because it puts them on display. Who wouldn't love 12 girls within spandex jumping around and diving everywhere.
Guy's volleyball shouldn't be considered feminine basically because there isn't any contact. There is greatly more power then those think within volleyball. We have to use the orb to break noses instead of solid bone.
To attract a crowd you should study current plays. Last season we had most of the football and hockey troop in watching us back their practices to see some of the stuff we ran.
Am i supppose to enjoy this.?
Question:am i suppose to have bruises on my arm from playing vb. i receive them when i bump the ball and presently i have big bruises on my arm is it because i swing when the bubble is aproaching me or what i need comfort fast grounds i get this everytime i practice.
Answers:
It is remarkably common to develop bruises from practicing/performing bumps surrounded by volleyball. Hopefully eventually your arms will get used to it, otherwise you may involve to cut down on your practice routine a bit. However, it is not a major issue, aside from apperance, so if it doesn't bother you nearby is nothing medically to verbs about.
it's adjectives, especially at the beginning of the season. They will be in motion away as you play more and you will get used to them. If it's your globe, try letting some air out. Ice surrounded by between practices.
Your skin is just unused to hitting a volley ball even so because it needs to capture used to hitting the but by after a while you problie wont get bruises
powerfully, when i first started playing volleyball i did.
ive been playing for four years andi haven`t gotten a bruise on my arm since.
its probably the power of the ball or something similar to that.
don`t swing your arms just seize to the ball hasty and barely swing.
If you put the flat of your arms out and permit the ball bounce stale of you rather than hitting or swinging at the bubble the bruises will go away. Make sure that the globe is hitting your arms when they are flat (inner arm flesh) and not on the bone.
it's normal to hold bruises but don't worry, after a while it's progress away
get low so the globe just pops right up from ur ars instead of u swinging... it will support if u practice that with serves... use a in haste server and if u get low and a moment ago move to the ball.. it will pop right up to ur setter
i play volleyball 2. No , u r not suppose to own bruises for every time u bump. in personal experience,,i just get them when i break a unyielding serve and that is it or when i do a unpromising bad bleak bump..just control ur bump and dont try to kill in cold blood the ball
If you are in recent times starting it's very adjectives because your arms must build up. Although, it's possible that you are swining too much as well. You can check the ball and make sure they are not overinflated, although sometimes it's freshly happens. The libero within my team be in a crazy digging drill and is bruised right up, even at the professinal rank. It does pass, but it is severely painful! If you hold to you can tape them, only just make sure you cartridge BOTH so that your platform isn't uneven. Good luck!
it is adjectives to develop bruises, especially if you havent played in a while. They should be going away soon!! but really dont verbs about them!!

I hold 4 volleyball games tomorrow. I am 12, and this is my first year.?
Question:Any tips??
Answers:
do not stand flat-footed.. stay on your toes. NEVER take your eyes past its sell-by date the ball. communicate beside your teammates. that is earth-shattering. lots of water between match.
Hey me too. I play for a club team and we regularly enjoy tournaments almost every weekend. 4 games for a 12 year old is in reality a lot.
What i would suggest is that you pack a couple of sandwich, gatorade/water, crackers, granola bars, and perchance some fruit. You don't want to get too full when playing because you are going to win major cramps and perceive wicked heavily built. But eat whenever you hold a break, and drink plenty of liquids.
For playing, trade name sure you stretch, A LOT! If you don't stretch and warm up economically, it will take forever to bring warmed up during a winter sport. Run a couple of laps, do your usual stretches and pepper beside teammates. During the actual game, simply go for everything. If you don't return with taken out very repeatedly, you kind of own to suck it up and just preserve playing. But if you start feeling aching, then name for a time out. But try to keep a moral pace going, and when you are on the floor for the bubble, get up like greased lightning or else your body will bring back too tired just lay there. Good Luck and remember to own fun!
Eat a power bar between games
ring if you are going after the ball
hold a sport drink to replace body salts ect
and wallow in the game most of adjectives
All the best
Make sure your serves are awesome. This is what can win you very effortless points for your team. If you can serve over mitt make sure they are power-full and will run over the net...if it wont win over the net dont do it! Thats really humiliating and terribly easy points for the other squad. If you can practice somewhere then work on your control of the orb. This is crucial for your other team mate because they are all relying on you when you hold the ball. Remember to focus and be within a ready postiton. Wear knees pads and sacrifice yourself to the orb! GOOD LUCK =]
Just relax... the first game you'll be for a while nervous but by the 2nd, you'll be relaxed, and you will know what you hold to work on from your first game! GOOD LUCK!
eat- stay hydrated- rest during rest times- play all-out adjectives day

:O when I was 12 we have like 7 games a light of day! anyway, eat robust food throughout the day and stay hydrated.
I'm on a pro's volleyball squad and I'm 11 years old. Anyways... my first winter sport I was apprehensive and, thought I needed help but, you really don't merely when you get out on that court you'll discern like your going to vomit ( that's what I felt) but after you start playing adjectives the feelings take off your mind. The only article you'll think of is I hold to win the game! The more games you play the more relaxed you'll bring. Trust me!! ;)
