Why is coordination and body composition important in surfing?
Question:Any great surfers out there who could give me the inside word cause I'm having a bit of trouble relating them to surfing. :) Any info about surfing and teh muscles it involves would be greatly appreciated as well :)

Well body "composition" is not a prime factor for being a good surfer. Coordination is;-)
I trust you have seen many overweight surfers out there-- I know I have... Maybe having more fat molecules helps out when they get smashed by their board or hit the coral or rocks;-)
Best exercises IN THE WATER--- is 1) surf-- any way you know how-- get out there and TRY 2) low surf or no surf in sight-- then PADDLE-- lay flat on your stomcah as you should be doing when going out past surf zone-- and just paddle a mile or 2.. those are the muscles needed for stamina and coordination on your proper pose standing on your board-- the deltoids- back shoulder muscles. Using your full arm and closed fingers-- pull the water behind you and paddle.
Other muscles that are needed and to focus on-- the abdominals and the quadriceps (thigh muscles). So practice on the sand--- standing up on your board from your flat stomach position. Stand up in only TWO steps-- lay flat and jump up on two legs-- the proper stance is back leg is horizontal to length of board and front leg is parallel/vertical to the board and about 2 feet below the "toe" -- tip of the board. Do this about 10 times for a set.
A good tip to going out in the surf-- have your board fins face the wave when walking out thru the surf. This way it won't slap back at you and cut you... paddle out and NOT walk as soon as possible. When a wave is going to hit you while paddling-- press down like you are doing a push up.. your head only raises about 2 inches from board -- do NOT lay your head on board thru the wave. But apply the pressure down toward water with your arms/hands and keep your toes pointed down toward back point of board (like a ballerina's toes) This will keep your body on the board-- never bend your knees.
Do push ups, sit ups and swim-- be a good swimmer ALWAYS in the ocean-- NEVER depend on your board-- leashes get ripped away and such. So always know how to swim in the ocean. Then just get out there and practice, practice, practice. Surfing can't get better unless you do it;-) You can be overweight, underweight ,real tall or real short--- it is how you use your body that counts. For beginners a long board is best at first... but it depends on the type of surf you get in your area (long boarders need a wave that does not hit the shore right away)
I've be thinking in the order of getting a whirl ski?
Question:although i'd had some experience contained by a kayak, its limited. but i own been surfing for over ten years. do i involve to be proficent in a kayak to be capable of use a wave ski?

Wake Board?
Question:Trying to learn to do a 180 on my wakeboard. Any tips
Answers:
To stick a 180, you really involve to be comfortable riding goofy and regular first. Practice riding goofy (assuming you ride normal) as much as possible and when it becomes comfortable, sticking that 180 should be impartially simple. Another little trick I used was to use the 'lip' of the get up to pivot the board 180 without actaully getting any nouns. ride over to the wake, and when directly over the top of it, beside as little of the board actually touching, pivot 180 and ride down the other side. 360s are a moment or two more tricky because it requires passing the rope losing your back and take much more pratice.
I'm learning 180s to and you really necessitate to get increase and spin that board around fast so you can spot your landing and stick. To take used to goin goofy (or regular) do around 13 mph and practice surface 180s. Good luck.
Like boardfan stated, you need to be comfortable riding switch (opposite from your commonplace stance) because you will either be landing switch or taking rotten switch in direct to land the 180 surrounded by your normal stance. The more you ride switch the easier it will be. If you do not ride beside anyone who can show you how to do it properly, I would suggest checking out 'The Book' series DVDs. A very worthy instructional series on wakeboarding from the basics to advanced riding.
As suggested, ride switch for awhile and obtain comfortable. Before trying it off of the rouse, try it a couple times on flat water. You'll have need of to pop the board a little, and use your legs and hips to really swing it around.
Where can i take varifocal lenses for my scuba pall?

most manufacturers of dive mask have mask that can be supplied with corrective lenses. tusa, oceanic, aqualung and so on adjectives have models of dive costume that can be supplied with these lenses. lately a quick look contained by the tusa mag i have here here appears to be 7 different masks that can enjoy lenses ranging from -1.5 diopters to -8.0 contained by .5 increments.
any good dive shop should be capable of help you out near this.
i also do know of a product that has stick on lenses that stick to the inside od your lenses.these are cheaper. sorry i cant give support to with the product dub right now but again, a obedient dive shop should be able to relief.
Any optical lab can bond lenses to the inside of your mask, the cost is relatively inexpensive also. accurate luck
