Where can i buy a travel boat that desires work?

Answers:

i always look at ebay motors...consequently my second step to find a boat would be a local police/sheriff auction.. the sheriff's harbor patrol where i live have about three auctions a year...most vessel are not new though, but for instance i know that at the final one someone bought a 04 wave runner for lower than a grand...so look at that...after that i know an irs-repo auction is other a great bet...and if all else fail, go out to the most redneck nouns you can find, all rednecks enjoy boats, and will sell them cheap ( i bought a 03 ski boat for 9 splendid out in riverside ca. where on earth as where i live ginger county ca. the boat would be like 16 grand)

hope this help!

What is best prop for Yamaha 250 outboard?

Answers:

The selection of the best propeller is a combination of heaps different factors, such as type of boat, L.O.A of boat, type of hull, use and observation (i.e.: better top end speed or increased nouns carrying performance?)
First of adjectives, for an engine like this I would recommend a stainless steel propeller. SS propellers are stronger than most adjectives other propeller materials with largest advantages: longer life and giant hydrodynamic efficiency derived from stiffer blades.

To select the optimum propeller for the use of your boat and motor combination, you should trademark some test runs, keeping the following guidelines contained by mind:
-Have a selection of propellers to question paper with.
-Use an accurate tachometer to gauge RPM.
-Use an accurate speedometer or some means (i.e.: G.P.S.) to standard boat speed.
-Safely test respectively setup at W.O.T.
-Make sure every test is beside "identical" settings. (i.e.: Boat load, trim angle, engine elevation, water conditions, etc.)
Since Yamaha 250 is a power trim equipped engine, it should be tested at optimum trim angle which is the great trim position that can be run without excessive vent (slippage) either contained by a straight line or within turns.

Selecting the right propeller while testing, you must hold in mind that:
-Engine RPM at W.O.T. must be inside the recommended operating range near the rated horsepower RPM as the target number (see specification within Operator's Manual).
-Increasing or decreasing propeller pitch directly affects engine load throughout its RPM scale.
-A high pitch and/or diameter propeller on an engine, will result surrounded by lower engine RPM throughout its entire RPM range for a given throttle setting.
-A low pitch and/or diameter propeller on the engine, will result within higher engine RPM throughout its entire RPM scope for a given throttle setting.
-A boat's hull design --and condition-- may limit its overall carrying out.
-Transom height, transom angle and engine trim angle, adjectives affect propeller performance.
-Atmospheric pressure, warmth, and humidity also affect engine performance, which directly affects propeller behaviour.
-Salt water is more buoyant than fresh hose; this may cause some hulls to run faster than very freshwater setups.
-Water and wind conditions can play a big quantity in boat ceremonial and propeller efficiency.
-The boat's nouns and position of the load can significantly affect recital.

Generally, the rule of the thumb is that the correct size propeller will provide the best overall fuel economy and working.
If I could have some more information, I think I would be capable of give a couple of suggestions concerning number of blades, pitch and diameter for your engine/boat combination.
