Carp pack bait?
Question:i need a good pack bait with out pva bag. fishing in a pay pond in nc. any recipes.
Answers:
cut a square out of a hair net, about six inches each side. Knead a handful of cheese and bread into a golf ball sized lump, wrap and secure in the hair net with a thin wire (also acts as weight) then thread hook through net and ball so that barb is hidden but just breaking surface...
i used this for carp - 25-35lb - in england...

Pike fishing?
Question:can any one tell me of any pike fisheries in the north east of england as close to county durham as possible? i wish to catch one of these monsters on the fly!

try a quiet reedy canal, must be a few around you. i dont know you're area but you can feel if a place is right, if fly fishing be aware of whats behind you & above, power cables etc. just go & explore really, you do'nt want to be surrounded by others, which would be an issue on a fishery. anyway fisheries are for non fishermen.
Will the River Wye be dive-able tomorrow after the current precipitation we're have?
Question:We were hoping to turn for a (SCUBA) dive in the River Wye tomorrow afternoon, but aren't sure as to how swiftly the river will be flowing or how silty it will be. Any ideas from those within the know?
Answers:
No it will not be, the bottom will be to stirred up leaving you near no visibility
Watch out for the under currents.
Where I live, the Wye have been dry for months so no diving surrounded by there!
