If the blues are in a university and having a feed frenzy almost anything that is shiny will work.
Off a pier contained by NY try a surface pooper lure...if I could only enjoy one I would get at blue & white Atom Popper. They should be reel in hastily making a lot of splashing crack when moving towrds you.
There are many others that work all right too, a Hopkins or other types of "spoon" lures.
Have fun experimenting with what works best for you surrounded by your waters at the time of year and the time of tide.
I want to try kite surfing but i'm clumsey, is it thorny to do?
Question:i'm going on holiday and can only afford to do a set number of activities. Kite surfing looks fun but its ecpensive to hire the apparatus. Has anyone tried it?

yes - dont bother if you only want to try a couple of hours because you wont be allowed out on it until you've proved you can touch and steer the kite and then shown you read between the lines the board. this will take a couple of hours at lowest possible even if you pick it up quickly. if you want to cram, go on a weekend course (best place south-west wales as the bend there is perfect) since you go on holiday. in that are a number of courses that are really moderately cheap considering. you should be able to do 2 days for smaller quantity than 100quid with adjectives the kit included
its in truth a really dangerous sport. i'm pretty good but own been doing it regulalry for going on for 18 months. i saw one bloke learning capture picked out of the water, pulled through the heavens over the beach at just about 20 feet afterwards land within a car park at seriously big speed - he was really f+++ed up. get sent to hospital with broken stuff but worst be he just spent several hundred quid on the tools - he broke the board in partially and ripped his kite - bummer
if you want a bit of fun just for a couple of hours for not much money - hire a windsurfer.
yes it is outstandingly hard
It does filch coordination-you need to control both the kite and the board. Normally take a day or 2 to catch so you can stay up and going.
Didn't take that long for me, but I'm an expert quadline kite pilot.
If you can bring a dual line foil and practice some, you may know how to shorten the time. Wakeboarding is a similar sport, so if you can manage that you're on the instrument as well.
Has anyone ever experienced and serious back pain from wake boarding?
Question:I lift weights 4-5 days a week and I live with muscle pain. However this is a much more intense sharp pain in the left side of my lower back. Hurts to sit and hurts worse to stand up and bending over to pick something up is no longer and option. It did not hurt till the day after so I don't think I pulled a muscle. Has anyone ever suffered this sort of pain from wake boarding and did it heal quickly?

I have experienced this pain before. Most water sports are pretty tough on the back. I went to a chiropractor when my pain didn't resolve for a few days, and I felt a lot better after a couple of adjustments.
