Question:I have a Rome Anthem 158 that I own only ridden once. The board is too authoritarian and I didn't realize it until after riding it. It's probably two years old and have only be ridden once at Snow Summit. It also has Drake bindings on it. I obligation some info on where I can flog it and how much I can get for it. I doubt anyone here is interested, but if you are next post your e-mail and I'll contact you.

Try ebay or craigslist. If that doesn't work, post it in the tabloid where you live and contained by the online listings, it's usually free. You'll probably get around $250 for a brand alien board and bindings, but even that is asking for profusely. You need to freshly see what you can get for it. Then, proceed next to selling it.
i would try www.craigslist.com or www.ebay.com good luck
Yup try craigslist or eBay ... or try a second foot sports store or a ski/snowboard swap meet surrounded by your area. Rome boards are pretty popular so you probably won't hold a problem selling it, depending on what condition it is in.
What is the best color lens that give you the best clarity and protection for snowboarding goggles ?
Answers:
There are a bunch of great options depending on street lamp conditions. For sunny days a darker lens surrounded by a gray or brown is your best bet but pretty much any tint will work well.
Now, on stormy days things go and get a little smaller number clear (in more ways than one). Two very popular tints are rose and sickly. Yellow increases visual acuity (which is a fancy agency of saying it make things appear brighter) and rose is best at filtering blue street lamp (blue light is what cause flat light) and thus offers the best contrast. I find, that if it is a dark stormy day or if I am riding more within the trees (where there is smaller quantity light) then pallid works the best. If it is a brighter day or if I'm not riding within the trees too much then I much prefer rose lenses as they grant the best definition.
By far, the most common lens tint is amber. This is a clothed universal tint as it combines red and wan to create a lens dark plenty for a sunny day but offer enough contrast and increased acuity to work ably on a stormy day. I find that any "universal" type tint works okay surrounded by all conditions but not great contained by any one condition.
If you can only own one type than amber is a great choice. If you can have two, stir for a darker lens for the sunny days and pick any a yellow or rose for those storming days. If money isn't too big a contract Smith as an awesome lens available called the Sensor Mirror. This lens have a great combo of yellow and rose tints next to a blue reflective coating that blocks the flat light. This is the best stormy time lens I have ever used.
EDIT: And if by protection you imply UV protection then you don't really have need of to worry as every goggle made today offer complete UVA and UVB protection, no matter what the tint is.
It sounds abnormal but yellow reflect the snow better than any other color. Rose is also a good color. If you want sun sheild though, return with black or gray, but if you just want goggles, return with a yellow colored lens.
Does anybody know anything in the region of "Pale" snowboards? Are they any apt? Cheers!?
