Any Snowboarding tips for a learner??
Question:I've gone down the whole mountain, from top to base and can jumb(but not very well!) plus ride a box to an extent. please advise!
Answers:
Once you've mastered prime turns, work on making your turns more dynamic - higher edging angle, body and board follow a different path. Work on releasing your creep to initiate a turn using both up and down unweighting.
There are so many fun areas of snowboarding to explore:
- nouns (straight, 1s, 3s, 5s, etc.)
- pipe
- switch riding
- trees
- bumps
- steeps
- backcountry
- carving
You are only constrained by your imagination!

Has anyone ever hear of the brand matix, and how pouplar is it?
Question:ive never heard of it, so possibly comparisons to other brands would help?
Answers:
Just b/c someone have or hasn't heard of it, doesn't determine whether or not it's perfect. I happened to own heard of it. All I know is they principally make apparel. If it's for snow, later I'm sure it's mainly coats, pant, gloves, beanies, that type of stuff. Whatever you buy, just construct sure you don't get your pant pulled down over the price, and you should be fine!
Apparel brands I'm familiar next to, and would recommend: Special Blend, Four Square, Da Kine, and NFA. Any of these are good brands, that aren't overpriced similar to all the Burton crap you see today.
it's a snowboard/skate brand similar to Volcom and Akademiks
It's a skate/snow apparel company. It's fairly popular among riders/skaters although I really don't surmise they make snowboards, freshly clothing. If they do, then they're noticeably not popular boards. Stick with a Palmer, Never Summer, Ride, etc.
Definitetly not popular amongst boarders. be boarding 10 years and never seen matix?
adjectives they make is apearal, but they enjoy alot of nice stuff iv goten a bunch of things from them. never seen or hear that they make a snowboard tho

There are apt programs in California, Colorado, Houston, Detroit, New Jersey and Connecticut, only just to name a few.
How much should I put up for sale a 2005 Shaun White 151 Snowboard for?
Question:It's only be used twice. It's in exceedingly good condition. It even still have the remininsce of it's original price strip: $499.95. How much is it worth now?
Answers:
Since it's a 2005 i'd start the selling at 330 at lowest possible. But since you rode it the price will go down to around 325 or 299. It sucks that they drop surrounded by price so much after they are used.
250 DOLLARS.
Take it to a shop near you during a ski and snowboard swap. They should be capable of get you a well-mannered price for it.
Prolly about 250, used and 2 years dated... even if just twice. Sucks to walk down that much, but prolly the best you'll get for it
