My 164 K2 Eldo adjectives mountain board is thought a bit big and strapping?smaller or lighter board?
Question:I'm 6ft 1 in & 160#
Answers:
It depends on how brawny you are and how aggressively you ride. At 6'1" you should be able to ride a 164, although 160lbs is fairly light. I dont approaching boards less than 162 for steep and weighty all mountain shredding (black and double black).
You can distinctly find lighter boards. Nidecker (the Swiss company) makes some tremendously light boards next to carbon fiber cores (the Ultralight). They are pricey, but really nice. I've got one, and one of my friends have one too.
Burton just come out with an even lighter board for 2006. I've not ridden it, but I've checked it out contained by the stores and it is featherweight. But, at $900 it is the most expensive board on the market.
You can try for a smaller board. Maybe a 158 or something but don't turn lower than 155 or you be too light. I usually switch around near boards and stuff, but if it's at your nose height, then it's merely about prefect for you.

You should identify why you are soo nervous...
are you stressed out cuz it's your first time? are you nervouse because you don't want to lose?
after thinking about it, you will any realize you are being silly for mortal nervous, or you will identify what you are really like a cat on hot bricks about.
If it is the latter, consequently focus on the 2 or 3 things that will help you accord with the what's making you fidgety. Then create a goal for you for this particluar see.
The goal can be:
- a moment ago finish the race
or
- hold fun with my friends
or
- finish within the top 3
Either way, if you enjoy a specific goal to accomplish at the see, just presume about that hope and do everything you can to accomplish that goal. And next at the end of the time, enjoy what you did and relaize that this is a study process and try to learn one entry from the race.
competition is fun... and you should be have fun. if your nervous, that's o.k, it's crude.. roll with it.
