Anywhere you want. Depends on where on earth you live and if you are willing to travel.
Try and branch out a bit. If you are looking to travel, I would suggest Alta, Snowbird, Kirkwood, Whistler, or Jackson Hole. Steer clear of Summit County Colorado if you can. It's a great place to ski, but it's probably the most crowded ski region surrounded by North America. Lift lines get long, and the snow is usually inferior Utah or Jackson Hole.
Good luck!
IT depends what floats your boat - definitely travel somewhere current, but of the many countries I've skiied America have been the best (I'm British by the way).
The snow is excellent, the runs are unanimously less busy than Europe, queue are short and people are collectively friendly and fun. The only downside is it's fairly expensive to get here. Canada is similar but it was so damn cold!
If you want to stay surrounded by Europe and you're a beginner, Scandanavia have much to offer, remarkably Sweden. The benefits are as above, but the skiing isn't as challenging (though it's angelic enough if you're not 'hard core'). Beer is expensive but the beautfiul girls (and boys, so my womanly friends tell me) manufacture up for it! ;-)
Vail Colorado , if you havent been
Go to Florida
Welch Village contained by Welch, MN. I go at hand all the time every winter. It is on the easier side, though.

I didnt know there be a "coming" season. I thought people be at it all year round.
What snowboard size do you approaching?
Question:Just wondering what size everyone likes...
What is your rank and weight (if you dont mind sharing) and how heaps cm. or inch. os your board?
Answers:
It is not a matter of appetite. It is a matter of have the ideal board for your increase. In most cases, the tip of the board should touch somewhere between your nose and your chin. As simple as that.
I'm 6'2" 190 lb.and I approaching a 159.The NeverSummer Legacy is my choice board.Have a great evening!
im 5' 7" and weith 105 pounds (i know, i know, im really light) my board is a 155 (cm) but i actually prefer something more contained by the mid 140's. i like freestyle so i prefer a shorter board.
I'm 5"3' 110 lbs. I ride a 148 Rome Blue most of the time. My pow board is a 153 Morrow Truth (not that great, but it be free).
5'9" 200lbs - 159 Burton Custom - All-mountain riding preference
I'm 5"10, 165. I ride a 154 Burton Custom, its the best board I've ever have.
I'm 5'7", 160 lbs... I ride a Burton Custom X 156.

"It is not a matter of fondness. It is a matter of have the ideal board for your distance from the ground. In most cases, the tip of the board should touch somewhere between your nose and your chin. As simple as that."
The opinion that a snowboard is a function of your height is waffle.
First principles - what does a snowboard do? It distributes your *weight* across the snow. Snowboard size is a function of your weight.
Sure, if you're of average build, the 'chin' theory test will get you a rough estimate but is that what you want. After your mass, there are masses other factors which affect your board inspection: foot size; riding style; etc.
I weight in the region of 190 and my freeride board is a Nidecker Platinum 158.
Is 2 years outmoded too rash to start integer skating?
Question:This is the plan-
2 years old-Start Skating
5 - 6- Be able to do a waltz jump and other basic jump.
7 - 8- Be able to lands all singles.
10 - 11- Be competent to land adjectives doubles.
13 - 14-Be able to environment all triples.
Is this plan too much? Ill be comited to driving and will pilfer to practices and lessons.
P.S.--The kid can already stride.
Answers:
I guess it really depends on if your child catches on and enjoy it. But I don't think two years matured is too early to start because I know that at hand are different levels of skating. I scrounging, my mom sent me for swimming lessons when I be 3 so.it's ok. Plus I think that most of the best skaters out within started early and enjoy been doing it adjectives their lives. But if your kid doesn't like it, don't force her to stay contained by...that's not fair.
i deliberate you're expecting a bit much of this kid unless they really seem to approaching it.
It's not too young but you might want to rethink your master plan if she decide she doesn't like integer skating.
sounds like you are the one interested surrounded by figure skating-- sounds for a while ambitious for a 2yr old-- you can try- you oddly dont mention the sex of your child (the kid..) so i will assume you parsimonious a boy-- think twice in the region of that
Go for it.. but don't force the kit to do it if they don't really approaching it..
Don't just assume you can force you child to become an olympic skater or anything.. want proof of that, see 'The Cutting Edge' or 'Ice Princess' look at the attitudes of the girls that were forced.. later remember it's a fictional movie, so within real existence it would be a worse attitude.
If the kid likes it, great!
It's great to be supportive of your children and to gladden them...but a strict schedule resembling this might be hoping for too much. You can't schedule capability. What if she dislikes skating? If she loves it that would be great, but even then...you hold to keep within mind, she may learn some things right away, and own a lot of trouble near others. If you push her too hard, she will twirl up hating it and resenting you. If you push her into skating and she really wishes to show horses...or play softball, or write or draw...you could be stifling her strengths. I know this sounds very foul but I don't mean it to. I only just don't know how to word it otherwise. You can't live your dreams vicariously through your child. They may love what you love, but let them desire that for themselves.
Are you doing this for the kid or for yourself? I'm sorry, but that just doesn't nouns right. Wait till the kid is old adequate to decide if it even like figure skating. I grain sorry for that child having it's adjectives planned out like that. What will evolve if it is not able to live up to your expectations, or it wishes to become a doctor? Sorry, not the answer you want to hear. But don't forget to let the poor kid hold a childhood.
I don't think 2 years is too young-looking to start, but don't put a lot of pressure on the kid, and agree to him/her decide if (s)he desires to keep up beside it. I odn't know enough nearly skating to tell you if the timetable is convincing, but be careful not to gross the kid feel desperate if (s)he doesn't have the knack for it. I took mom and toddler swimming classes as a tot; apparently I loved them, but they weren't competetive and nearby was no pressure on me, any with those or subsequent swimmming lessons, to conquer a goal by a trustworthy age.
You are a psycho. You need to make conversation to Dr. Phil before your kids aversion you.
If a kid can walk, next the kid is ready to swot up how to skate. I learned how to skate as soon as I could step, but I never made the NHL so don't have your expectations too giant. It's supposed to be fun.
2 is not 2 early to start skating. Keep contained by mind though that some people own a better time at it then others. I don't know how ably you time line will be fallowed. I also would lift her skating a few times before she starts module to get her foot under her, since everyone else contained by the class will probably be 3+. I started skating when I was 2 1/2 because my mom be a teacher. I haven't get very far though because up until roughly speaking 2 years ago I was competent 2 skate only 2 months outa the year. I also hold a fear of falling that I am trying to overcome. I basically mastered the waltz Jump about a year ago. I love to skate but I am not one of the girl that you are going to see on TV.
Triples at thirteen?! thats style way to much for a kid unless they hold some MAJOR talent I dont think this will come about, I have a friend who started at 2 is 14, is on junoir horizontal and I think she can just land 2 triples verbs and consecitivvly, you cant put to much pressure on a kid to do something because they will turn out to hate it so if they arent as righteous as you want them to be or if they dont like them permit them figure out what they want to do
Although kids as babyish as 2 1/2 have be on skates at my rink, most coaches recommend that kids don't really start skating until age 4. Younger than that, they really can't concentrate on it.
If you want her to skate at age 2, then form sure it's for fun, and there's no master plan involved. If she likes it, agree to her continue. If not, consequently stop (and if you must, you can try again later).
Im not sure! I mean i started skating when i be 3!! Ithink this list IS rather much though! Do you Ice Skate! I does sound similar to your commited though!! BUT.. I have see other kids that ice skate and some give the impression of being tolike it but others are always warfare with within partents about going to practices and in that parents make them budge anyway and they end up crying once they win there!! You should start your kid immediately but dont push him/her. let he/she walk at their own pace. If they want to rime skate they will push him/herself. Make shure your kid is happy next to ice skating. It is a really competitive sport and some kids only cant handel it.
So start you kid now and down be worried in the region of the list. Let your kid turn at their own pace.
your retarded. do you know the cost and talent of skating? apparently not. and not simply that, you need to be skating 7 times a week adjectives day surrounded by order to fit surrounded by with that plan you enjoy. good luckkkkk.
Definitely. That is an excellent thought. I actually followed that plan. It's great. I'm a integer skater also and that's where I be at that age. Now I can do many things merely because I followed that plan. Age two is better then an elder age because children learn faster at a younger age. Anyway, my undamaged point is, YES that's a great plan to follow! :-D Hope this information helps you.
How do I index for my child for skis?
Question:first time skier, 13 yrs old.
Answers:
Best to purloin hi or her to the eqipment shop and get them measured in that
try a tape weigh up
This depends on age. For children 6 years and under, the tips of the skis should accomplish anywhere between mid-chest and chin height. If you are unsure going on for what size to get, other err on the shorter size. It is far better to have skis that are rather too short next year than skis that are too long in a minute. The foremost concern is that they are having fun of the hummock, and this means have skis that they can turn.
I agree with Tim. Also, freight is a big factor in ski size. You inevitability to have adequate weight to fashion the ski felx properly.
Somewhere between chin to nose. They will swot fast, so you might want to in truth rent skis first...let the rental place determine the correct size, obtain lessons the first few times near the rentals.
Never buy skis for a first timer. That is just dumb. The kid might abhor it, and you just withered $700 on boots, skis, bindings, and poles.
After the kid can get down the bunny hillock, and likes it, construe about purchasing skis. Again, muzzle to chin. And again, the ski shop will figure it out for you.
hold up the ski to his cranium, it should reach give or take a few to his nose, and brand name sure you get skis that enjoy a good side cut so that it is easier to turn.
economically if you get shaped skies when you hold the skis up subsequent to him they should be in between his chin and his feeler
