I enjoy white figure skates. I'm a proffesional amount skater.
I have Harlick boots and MK Vision blades, but I used to hold Gam boots and MK Proffesional blades. I totally love my boots and especially my blades because they have a huge toepick which help me jump difficult on my doubles:)
My skates and blades were something like $800 I think, but we get cheaper blades because they were slightly used(someone skated on them for 2 weeks)
mine are white-ish and they hold orange lace because i didnt get a casual to change them.
I own Jackson Classiques.
i have wilson boots and jackson blades. or the other approach around. i got my boots from this girl surrounded by a really high even. my blades i bought online. i heard that riedell's aren't completely good. i agree. isn't it because they don't own much support? i guess so. i have never hear of GrafEdminton Special...wierd.

I have Jackson Artiste.
I enjoy custom Harlicks which cost me $700!, on my third pair!! Although I love Riedells and still use my Gold Star 375s when I inevitability a softer boot.
My blades are amazing!
I love Coronation Comets with the K-Pick, and used them for 9 years, but very soon skate on MK Phantom with the K-Pick.
They are so incredible to skate on and I would never use anything but a K-Pick blade.
I use GRAF for years,if U are a recreational skater why use so call figure skates,a well brought-up quality man (boys) skates is all U obligation. If U figure skate afterwards U NEED skates that cost at least $400.00 or more, and take them fitted (molded ) if U can .For most the fad of WHITE women's skates is almost stale. Most younger women are going for mens serious hockey types that fit well.
I use Jackson boots. Ther're my favorite. I've also have Ryder before, which be also good.
I've never tried Graf, nor own I heard of it.
As for Gold Seal blades, those are well brought-up. I have those too.
I hold Jackson Mystique skates. However I want to get a sophisticated end Jackson boot and I am not sure what blades I will get hold of. I know that there is a guy (Rick) up at Highland Ice Arena surrounded by Seattle that is the best around the greater Seattle nouns for fitting skates and blades and he knows what is the best. I know I am gonna necessitate new skates once I start erudition jumps because my toe picks aren't nearly big plenty to get any nouns ^_^ I have hear of Graf before, while oogling over skates I would close to to get ^_^
jackson
but i dont noe wat brand
I have Harlick boots, semi custom. And I own Coronation Ace blades.
I used to have Reidell Silver Stars and MK blades, but I upgraded give or take a few a year ago. I am so happy that I did! The Harlicks fit resembling a dream - my feet and the Reidells never be 100% happy together.
I hold heard of Grafs. I deem they have a sophisticated heel than N. American skates - more along the European model. They're a decent competitive boot.
What size skis would a 180cm trainee use?
Answers:
Best thing is to hire your skis contained by the resort. Start off beside small (165) skis and then make over them - every couple of days if you like - for larger or smaller ones until you find what suits you best.
Shorter skis = easier to turn - Longer skis = better directional stability.
Well individual in Florida partially my life make me somewhat of an expert on both skiing, and the metric system. For just plain marine skis, and you being a neophyte, you want about as much blade on the surface as possible so turn for some 160s-170s(cm). If your going to be doing tricks and jumps, which I don't recomend for a newbie, shift much shorter say a moment ago past your waist, but below your nipple influence. Have fun, oh ya, and wear a life jacket.
If you are a amateur then it would be better to hire skis and tolerate the guys in the shop fit you up. Longer skis are more stable at greater speed, shorter skis are easier to turn, wide skis are better on powder snow. At your height it's senseless buying skis, much better to wreck somebody else's while you are learning the ropes! Have fun
Water or snow?
Snow: If you are a rookie, the shop will give you the appropriate length ski. Then remember the length. As you develop, you will use a longer ski. When you first learn, the ski is shorter so you own more control over it, and your speed stays down.
Water: not a clue - but that first answerer seemed to know what they be talking more or less.
Rule of thumb is to go for same length skis as your largeness, if you're a novice, so 180s. But when you've get a little experience, try snow blades - they are cool!
A pupil should use skis 15cm shorter than their height. These days even advanced skiers use skis 10-15cm shorter than plane on piste, rising to same length as their height skis if rotten piste a lot contained by variable snow and I don`t know a tad longer if off piste contained by deep snow exclusively. It's meaningful to remember though that if significantly overweight or underweight, the novice's weight must also be taken into tale. A novice shouldn't buy so the hire shop should support appropriately. Shorter skis (or long snowblades) are easier to learn within.
As a skiing instructor and obviously more up-to-date than the former question - you'll want to take CARVERS - you'll want them to be 160-165 cm and you'll want to rent them- Than you'll want a skiing instructor to school you how to ski and then you'll own a lot of fun - I hope!
Listen to Dame D! I'm not a ski instructor but I'm a huge ski-ing user and I've bought several pairs of brand new skis within the past. If you are 180cm I would unambiguously not go longer than 165cm, and probably 160cm would be easiest to revise on.
The longer the ski the harder you will find it to begin next to. You want carving skis to help you gross clean turns, and... sorry, I didn't check your term - are you male or womanly?!... I recommend light-weight skis for female skiers. There are several great contemporary womens skis on the market - I love my Dynastars! Enjoy..
skis own to be with 10 cm smaller than u
Has anyone been snowboarding in new york camelback or hunter mountain?
Question:How is it?
Answers:
I was at Hunter last Monday. It was pretty alright at the time but you have to limit your expectations. Despite what they say on their conditions page. There are really only 3 trails from top to bottom that you can ride on. It just sounds like 20 b/c of all the stupid name changes.
The snow was alright. Really soft, like mashed potatoes. Ice was definately not a problem. Neither was the cold so I would not overdo it on the layers.
The cover was extremely thin (i.e. a few times we had to ollie over patches of grass and dirt to get to the trail) The terrain park was non existent with a 2 rails counting as a terrain park.
It was my first time this season to it was fun just to screw around and shake out the cobwebs. Hopefully we'll get some snow soon.
Am I the one and only one who like it when the female curlers cry "Hurry, Hard ... Whoa!"?
Question:I can't wait for the subsequent winter Olympics!
Answers:
you don't have to lurk for the olympics, to see curling again, I guess maybe you do if your within the USA but there must be a station that have the curling worlds on in April.
Lady curlers
here cool ~ at least here out there have fun ~and They all want it harder ~ But where on earth did they ever come up with this hobby of Heavy bowlers on ICE ? Its funny to see them sweep the ice to construct it go faster
it's even better when the phones ring trailing them
As an American who only get to see curling once in a while, I love it! But, to be without a flaw honest, I don't know why it is an Olympic sport. Horseshoes or bocce could both be Olympic sports if curling is. That said, I would love to join a curling club and swot up how to do it.
No.
There's the Worlds, etc. every year but I guess it's tough to find curling TV coverage outside of Canada. Maybe there are webcasts?
bore
all i want to know is, why do they play beside tea-kettles and brooms
My mother used to skip in ladies house league. When she call my sister and I home for dinner she would sound close to a curler. " Rob ert La tea ah din ner. Come on come on. come on."
Sure horseshoes or bocce could be Olympic sports ... if horseshoes or bocce balls weigh 44 pounds!
