Where can I take cheap ski boots in/around london?
Question:Have been ski-ing twice in a minute and have be looking out for boots but not want to buy them in a resort contained by case of problems. Would approaching to have them fitted.
Answers:
The knob is to go somewhere next to a variety of brands, near a proper boot-fitting area near informed staff. Every brand suits a different shape foot, so make sure you turn somewhere with a polite choice and with ethnic group that know what they're doing.
Steer clear of anywhere that sells a moment ago one or two brands (like just Salomon, or a moment ago Atomic). You'll be lucky to find the right fit at a place like that.
Snow+Rock is honest, and have stores within Covent Garden, Kensington, The City and Romford. Ellis Brigham too.
Some stores (like S+R) offer a fit guarantee, so if the boots hurt, you can bring them rear and they'll fix them up, or exchange them for a different model.
Also, ask about the footbed - the standard ones supplied by manufacturer are completely flimsy and unsupportive. A good boot-fitter will suggest upgrading you to a better footbed. This isn't them trying to win more money - it really makes a difference to whether your foot are tired and sore at the end of the morning!
Just remember, "cheap" isn't worth it if they're going to hurt!
Good luck.
oh the river Clyde the wonderful clyde ..
I recommend Finches Ski & Snowboarding Emporium, 25-29 Perry Vale, Forest Hill, London SE23 2NE. They currently have a public sale on, so grab yourself some bargain. Visit their website.

If you want new,try Decathlon at Canada Waters. Try and attain a pair of pre heated inner boots resourcefully worth a few bob more. Don't get boots to stiff as it will affect your ankle flex(important) and bear your time,go midweek as its quieter.
You don't read aloud where abouts surrounded by London you are but any good winter sports shop will be capable of help you. If you are anywhere to hand Chelmsford in Essex I would thoroughly recommend Ski Plus within Navigation Road, Chelmsford where the staff are immensely helpful and the breadth of all ski gear is brilliant. I get my boots there as in good health as everything else and they were reliable. Good luck in the hunt.

Should curling be within the olypics?
Question:should curling be in the olympics? why is it contained by the olympics? whats the point?
Answers:
Yes it should and don't criticize it just because you don't read it. Curling is very popular surrounded by many parts of the world, lately not so big in the USA. But it be one of the best attended sports at the Turin games, averaging over 90 percent of stadium capacity for every single round. It be also pretty much the only sport to own every match shown on US small screen, even if it was buried on an smaller cable meet people instead of the main NBC nurture.
There is no point! lol! I don't consider it a sport.
no there is no judgment why it should.
You could make this argument for abundantly of sports.
Plus, it's not like you're obligated to follow every sport contained by the olympic games, everyone has their favourites.
Yes curling should be within the olympics. You could argue for all sports...did you know once that ballroom dance was once an olympic sport? resourcefully I think that sports within Olympics should be worldwide, so it is contended international countries. so not just the US or Austria. I devise that curling may be percieved as "Canada's sport" but canada has single won 2 gold medal with both men and women ... i thought they be the powerhouse!
curling is my favorite sport to watch! even if you own no clue what the point is, its still funny to watch the society shouting out stuff and watching the little sweepers go at it beside their brooms.
Yes, I think that curling is a moral Olympic sport and it will be popular in the 2010 Winter Olympics contained by Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
well conspicuously the olympic people imagine that it's a sport, so it should be in the olympics
I guess since it take place on ice, that it does enjoy a place in the Olympics. It really is surrounded by a category with skating, they don't really enjoy athletic ties, per se, but more aesthetic?
no, it doesnt seem to be to take too much physical strength, single mental
If you dont like it, dont examine it. I think is should be included surrounded by the olympics, and fans can monitor while the rest of us watch South Park.
i dont have a sneaking suspicion that it should be cuz its to slow and boring it also isnt to popular i think but i nev troop of it till this years winter olympics
Yes, it should remain an Olympic sport. It is second only to hockey within Canada. It's popularity is growing almost exponentially in the US. It's Scottish surrounded by origin, resembling so many great things (golf, whiskey to baptize a couple).
As for its "lack" of athleticism, try sweeping a stone so it will curl around a rock and travel ten feet trailing it to score and not break a sweat.
On top of that, it is particularly challenging mentally, much resembling a chess match. Only not as long fortunately (2 1/2 hours long tops at the international level).
If you or anyone else have serious questions around the sport, contact your national curling governing body. They should competent to put you in touch beside the nearest curling club in your nouns. If there isn't one within your area, they should know how to answer most of your questions.
Yes. I feel that the curling was pretty much the most entertaing cut of the whole article. What's the point of the biathalon or ice dance? If you are critical enough you can find reason to dump most olympic events. But if you think around it most of the events are not for the US. They reflect the world and their like and dislikes. So, if we can field a troop that does well surrounded by those events, all the better for us.
Of course it should be, any sport to be exact decided Man v Man is worthy. However silly 'events' that are approved by corrupt, flatulent judges should not be.
